Styling Archive and Search Page

Hey!

So I’m trying to style the Archive and Search page but I have a few issues when trying to replicate my blog’s current archive/search style.

First with the Archive…
1. How can I add a dynamic image to be displayed on the archive above the content title hero background? It could be either the latest post featured image or any relevant image to that archive page.
2. While I’m able to style the archive posts, there doesn’t seem to be a styling option for the excerpt? Same for the “read more” link. Or maybe I’m missing them?

On the search pages…
3. When I do a search, I see the search title inherits the color of the archive, but the problem is the search pages don’t have an above the content hero background option (like the archives do), so my search title is coming white over white. Is there a way to add a hero header with a dynamic relevant image to the search page, similar with the archives?
4. The search pages don’t seem to have any styling options, so posts are white over white too, and while posts are inheriting the archive styling (minus the background color which is not being inherited), any page displayed on the search has no styling option (that I know of?) so they are displaying different and not showing meta or description/excerpt. Any way this could be styled to everything looks even?
5. How can I change the “search results for:” text to something different like “You searched for:”?

Lastly, since we are discussing these search pages…
6. How can I style the 404 page and add some image and additional text/links? Not sure if this could be something that’s part of the pro theme of if there’s a way to do it with the free one?
