Switching to the new Kadence Theme

Hi guys. I’ve been thinking about switching from Ascend Premium to the new Kadence Theme and learning to work with Gutenberg rather than Page Builder. Is it possible to do this rather seamlessly? Can I recreate a similar look on the new Kadence Theme to what I have built with Ascend? (www.clearwatertrekker.com) I would imagine I could, but I’m just not knowledgable enough to know what I would be giving up on and what I would be gaining.
Also, I’m basically running a simple hiking blog. I do have a calendar plugin and some contact forms, but that’s all I’ve really done. Even the Kadence Slider is only one slide with a little animated text. Would I be able to do this with just the free Kadence Theme? I appreciate an honest answer here. Thanks for any input or advice y’all can give.
