Transparent sticky header & Hover/Active for one section (and not home)

Good afternoon. Through trial and error, I’ve managed to piece a site together but find myself at an impasse. I’m attempting to have a home page similar to KADENCE home page (*Login to see link ); transparent nav and becomes white upon scrolling. HELP PLEASE!
One other thing is that the HOME nav item is active regardless of the section- how can I change this so that the current section is the only one highlighted.
