Variable drop down menus

I have the the extended product options to add personalisation and drop down menus etc to a product, but I would like to be able to be more specific with menus and when selecting an option from one drop down list it give a set of colours but if I was to choose another option the colours in the list would change any ideas on how I can do this or what i need to purchase.
