Video alternative for Kadence Slider on some browsers?

Hi there,
I’ve got a video in the Kadence slider and love it but note that on some phones (i-phone 6) and some browsers with HTML5 blocking the video won’t display. In those cases, I’d like a static image to display. I’ve tried doing a background image but that doesn’t work (it goes from background image to video to nada in the normal browers)… I’m not doing something correctly. Help?
