Virtue Theme Deprecated?

Can someone in support please confirm that the “classic” themes are being deprecated? I chose these themes and pay the yearly subscription fee so that my theme will continue to stay up to date, however there are features that lack updates and I need to know if I need to find an alternative before my subscription fees are due again. Please see my Social Icons thread for more details. Would I be better off selecting the “Kadence” theme, instead of “Virtue”?
