Widget not updating since moving to Kadence

A week ago I moved to Kadence from another theme. Since the move a text widget I need to manually update daily doesn’t want to update. I sometime have to click ‘Save’ a dozen or more times.
I don’t have a caching plugin installed and I’ve tried on a couple of browsers.
I know this would normally be a WordPress issue but it started only after I moved to Kadence.
