z-index of -1 Problem

Hi,
does Kadence somehow hijacks z-index of -1 ? Because i’m trying to use an Elementor plugin that uses z-index of -1 and as soon as i do, the item is not showing anymore. If i switch to another theme, it’s all good again.
Do you have some info for me about that matter ? thank you.
