We offer premium products through a subscription-based model. After one year, your subscription will renew. To continue receiving product updates and premium support, you must renew your license. You can turn off auto-renewal or cancel your subscription at any time. Check out our pricing philosophy page for more information about why we sell by subscription.
We offer access to our Kadence Membership product in a one-time payment option referred to as “lifetime access.” This “lifetime” product gives access to our themes and plugins for as long as the product/service is offered by Kadence WP.
Securing Your Account:
As a measure to keep our services and confidential information such as licenses, etc. safe, you are bound to secure your account with a strong password.
One Account Per Person:
You are allowed to have only one account on our website. While each account is allowed to be used by a single user. If you are a part of an organization and own an account on behalf of it, you are allowed to grant access to a few employees. In this case, you will be held responsible for their behavior on our website.
Sharing an Account
You are strictly prohibited from sharing your account details with any third parties.
Themes and Plugins License
Our WordPress themes and plugins are licensed under the GNU General Public License.
You may use your purchased themes/plugins on as many websites as you like.
With an individual theme or plugin purchase, you get access to one year of support and updates unless you purchased a lifetime license
*Note prior to August 15, 2016 we bundled the Slider Revolution with our themes. We no longer do this ( we instead include an unlimited license of the Kadence Slider Pro ), but if you purchased prior to August 15, 2016 your copy of the Slider Revolution plugin is only good for use on one domain.
Update and Compatibility
All WordPress themes and plugins sold through our website are always tested and updated to be compatible with the latest stable version of WordPress. However, Kadence WP can give no guarantee that current versions of our themes or plugins will be compatible with previous versions of WordPress, or that previous versions of our themes will be compatible with the current version of WordPress.
Technical and General Support
We take support seriously and pride ourselves in providing in-house support. Real people, on hand, ready to help.
We offer premium support for those who purchase our products. Access to premium support last as long as you keep your license active or as long as Kadence WP provides the service. For example, each single theme purchase is for one year of active support and updates. At the end of that year, you can choose to renew or cancel. Support is provided through our Support Forums. This is the quickest and most efficient way for our customers to receive support, and we work to answer questions as fast as possible. Usually, support questions are answered within several hours. Many times it is faster, but at nights and on weekends it may be slower as we do not have normal hours.
We are out to impress with our level of premium support.
For our free theme users, we also offer support. It is not typically quite as quick, but we do our best. For free theme support use the support forums on WordPress.org. For example, our free Virtue theme support can be found here: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/virtue
As a general rule, we do not provide general WordPress support that is not related to our themes. But in practice, we can usually point you in the right direction. We want your experience with WordPress to be great. For general WordPress questions, we also suggest getting involved in the WordPress community where you can ask for help with general WordPress questions: http://wordpress.org/support/
We are happy to see you modify our themes to fit your needs, and we are happy to help, but there is a limit to what we can do. In general, if your modification needs are more than a couple of lines of new code, you will need to contact a developer to assist you.
We are not able to provide support if it requires accessing an adult or any type of NSFW site. Please ask your questions and leave off the link, you can clarify that your site is NSFW in your support queries and we won’t ask for a link, instead, we will ask enough questions to be able to help you where we can.
We are not able to support third-party themes and plugins or ensure that everyone works properly with our products. Although generally, plugins and themes coded to WordPress standards will work fine. Also, if there is a conflict we can help resolve, we are willing to do so.
Disclaimers and Limitations
The information contained in our terms is meant to be accurate and reliable; however, errors sometimes occur. In addition, Kadence WP may make changes and improvements to the information provided herein at any time.
Our products and services are provided “as is”. We offer no warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied. Further, we can not guarantee that our products will function with plugins or themes you currently use or will use in the future.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall Kadence WP be liable for lost profits or any special, incidental or consequential damages (however arising, including negligence) arising out of or in connection with our products or services.
ERRORS AND DELAYS
Kadence WP is not responsible for any errors or delays caused by an incorrect e-mail address provided by you or any other technical problems.
We offer refunds to any unsatisfied customer up to 30 days after the purchase was made. If you would like your money back, send us an email. ([email protected])
- Refund periods are based on the first purchase date. If you have purchased and requested a refund in the past, the 30 days are from the first purchase, not the repurchase date.
- By requesting and receiving a refund, you relinquish all ownership of your license and agree to cease the use of our products immediately.
