As part of our journey to make the best products possible, our users can opt into using Kadence AI with our products. Opting in happens when users connect their site to Kadence through our “Activate Kadence AI” button. This allows you to use our AI tools within the Kadence products and connects a product key in your site to track credit usage.
We track usage through Kadence AI to track credits, prevent abuse, monitor traffic levels, and improve our product. Any content you input into our AI wizard will be captured for use in generating your AI content. Examples of this content include Company Name, Address, Industry Type, About your Business input, Keywords, Tone, and Image Search terms. All prompts are passed to a partner large language model AI, currently OpenAI.
If you are new to Kadence WP, you are required to create a free account to opt into using AI. As part of our create an account process, you are also subscribing your email address to receive security alerts and product update information, as well as occasional emails containing helpful articles and guides to get more out of Kadence, WordPress, and more. You can change your mind and opt out at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in the email. Opting out of email will not affect AI usage.
AI Usage Overview
Every event that gets passed to open AI is tracked as it is queued up, processed, and sent back to the user’s site. We also track events inside the AI wizard, like finishing the wizard or changing image collections.
AI Usage Specifics:
Each usage event is sent with the user’s product_key, product_slug, product_version, user’s site name, and user’s site URL.
