adding html tags option to tabs block

Currently, tabs block only has default setting of div tag for tab titles. But, I also want custom settings to set desired html tags for tabs title. I am wondering why this block doesn't have that feature as in other blocks like Accordian, you have coded that feature. It is much needed to have better html structure in our content.
