advanced gallery pagination / lazy load

When using the advanced gallery block, I would like to have a pagination option added or a lazy load feature – especially with larger galleries with 20+ images. Currently, the gallery loads all the images within the advanced gallery block – affecting pagespeeds which affects usability and seo. I think having a pagination option to help break larger galleries using grid, or masonry and tiles into smaller page like settings – it could be slightly more useful coupled with a lazy load option within the advanced gallery block.
