Create links on individual words in the Advanced Text block

I've just discovered the Advanced Text block does not allow individual words or groups of words to be changed into links. It's only possible to link the entire paragraph at the moment. That's a pretty basic thing to want to do. Would it also be possible to make the link no follow and to open in a new window/tab Could it also be made possible to have multiple links in a single paragraph. The work around is to use the WordPress paragraph block at the moment which supports that feature.
