Paste Multiple Lines into the Icon List Block

Would be great to be able to paste multiple lines of text into the Icon List block. It's rather tedious to paste a long list one item at a time. There is a workaround which involves pasting the list into a text (adv) block then transforming it into a icon list block. Though this isn't intuitive and only works for the initial list of items. While I think of it, it would be great to be able to order the items alphabetically too.
