Post Grid/Carousel - Custom Image Placement

I've been working on a section of my website with post grids, aiming to position the image on top for desktops and on the left for mobile devices. I've achieved this by creating duplicate sections and selectively hiding them for mobile and desktop views. However, I've noticed that setting the image on the left for desktops provides an option for top placement on mobile, but I need the opposite – top for desktop and left for mobile. Is it possible to add a feature where selecting the option for top image placement on desktops, would provide a left placement option for mobile devices? Thanks
