Set preferred color variable (override defaults) on colors in the template/pattern library.

I have several websites already published…changing the colors in the global color system to my preferred light, dark and highlight for the pattern/cloud library is not an option. I would have to go to each page and update many blocks current colors. I do want patterns that offer a light, dark, and highlighting color of my preference. If I could add a filter function to change/override which color variables are used in these three color selections, I believe this would solve my issue.
