hmm strange can you post a link?
Ben
Hi, after update theme to 1.9.3 I have problem with Gallery in posts. I have put 3 galleries in one post. When I set one form them to 3 columns display, it display only two columns and other galleries are displayed in two columns, even if set to different column size. It seems that the images can not be reduced to the appropriate size according to the number of columns. So I set to 2 columns and sometimes displayed correctly, sometimes only in one column.
I want to display featured products on the home page. I’ve tried enabling the Virtue theme option and the Woocommerce shortcode by enabling page content, but neither are working properly. I have the same problem with displaying related products. I’ve temporarily turned off maintenance mode for this inquiry. What am I not doing to make this work correctly? Thank you.
Woocommerce shortcode: [featured_products per_page=”4″ columns=”4″ orderby=”date” order=”desc”]

Ok all you need to do is deactivate the virtuetoolkit plugin and redo your columns. They are using the old bootstrap css. Either way you can send me a login too but I would start by deactivating the “virtuetoolkit” plugin, you don’t need it with premium.
Ben
Hi Ben, the answer is yes, Virtue is installed and activated.
The page where I’m using columns tags is this one : http://www.nenesse.net/a-propos/ at bottom : “Le matériel utilisé” and “Logiciels utilisés”
You should receive an email with temp log soon.
Edit: By the way, I was not in 3.8.0 wordpress version when I noticed the problem 😉
No worries Ben – that nailed it!

That would be my bad… missed a global variable call. 1.9.3 with the fix is up.
Sorry,
Ben
Unfortunately not yet for me… categories have resized, so they work here. I adjusted:
Shop Product Column Layout
Choose how many product columns on the shop and category pages
to “Six Column”
Still have 4 columns as seen here: http://162.243.147.225/market/
Thats for categories, with virtue 1.9 you have options for categories and products, try the products one on the top of the page.
Ben
Virtue 1.9.1 with Child
Shop Category Column Layout
Choose how many Category Image columns to show on the shop and category pages I have see this to 6 columns and 4 display. I did turn off any other woocommerce tweaker plug to see if that was influencing
Hi Ben, since I updated Virtue to 1.9.0, the button “Insert Columms” works, I correctly have [columns] [span6] tags and [/span6] [/columms] of course, but when I submit or preview my post/page, there is no columms.
Divider tag [hr] [/ht] works fine.
This is not a priority issue, just to inform you. 😉
There isn’t a way to have two sidebars, What you can do is make two columns in the page content then add a widget area to the column that you want the recent posts in. You will need a plugin that gives you a shortcode of the widget area.
in the next update the related products will be in a carousel and you will have options in the theme options to choose how many columns are in the carousel so if you wanted smaller items you could choose 5 or 6 columns.
It’s close. thinking this week 🙂
Ben
Yeah thats the shortcode. If you want the visual aid just select it. Its the first select box when you click the columns button.

<div class="clearfix" style="background:yellow; padding:10px 0 0">[featured_products per_page="12" columns="4" orderby="date" order="desc"]</div>
Didn’t understand that second part?
Ben
Hi,
am working with WooCommerce and am trying to put the [featured_products per_page=”12″ columns=”4″ orderby=”date” order=”desc”] on yellow background…
I tried for hours and cannot make it work … do you have an idea?
Btw. couldn’t also not fo it with the Home Page “Featured” functionality.
Thank you so much
Dan
Puh, not that much.
I will leave like it is for the moment and come back to this post, if I really need the 5th column. Maybe I can make it with the 4 columns by using widgets one below the other …
Tanks for your help up to now!
Ah, sorry, I already have 4 columns – of course I meant 5 to 6 columns
Maybe I will have to reduce the font size …
You can make it four columns by selecting the four column footer layout in the options panel. Main settings toward the top. If you need five you would have to edit the code a bit. Let me know
Ben
Hello everybody,
I need some help with my footer. Is there any possibility to increase the number of columns?
4 or even 5 columns would be interesting for my website.
Thank’s for any help!
