Hi,

Do you have any browser extensions? Have you tried using a different browser?

Kindly try opening the browser error console while you are trying to activate and addon.
 
A browser error console is a tool that displays information about Javascript errors and other web page issues. Here are the general steps to access and use the browser error console:
 

1. Open your web page in a web browser.
2. Open the browser developer console. The console can often be accessed by right-clicking on the page and selecting “Inspect” or “Inspect Element” from the context menu, and then selecting the Console tab.

I think maybe you were correct about maybe being on a specific area as I am not seeing the problem today but if you could check from your end that would be great. The anchor link is the box with next steps at the bottom of the page.

Hi there,

You can save the Row Layout block as a reusable block / sync pattern. Here’s a guide:
https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/reusable-blocks/

Another way is to save it as the Row Layout block default – here’s a screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/GGu5wBvW

Please note that saving block defaults saves only the styles you applied for that specific block, so whenever you add a new one to your page editor, it will always use the default styles.

I want to use a row layout with coloured background in several pages. (brown in the example pic)

I plan to copy this row layout / block in HTML and add the content inside Google Sheets.

Once I do that and publish the new content in a new post, the block still works but the formatting (brown background) disappears. How can I do it so I always have the same style in HTML?

Hi there,

Thanks for your interest in Kadence theme and blocks.

Kadence theme does not have its own editor, and you can use any page builder / editor you like.

On the other hand, Kadence Blocks plugin extends the editing capabilities of Gutenberg. That said, they can only be used in Gutenberg editor.

Is the Full Width align option not showing for other blocks like Columns too? If it’s not, do you recall adding a code snippet to remove theme support for the full-width alignment?

Also, what is your whole block layout for that specific page? Could you send us a screenshot so we can try replicating the issue again on our website?

On the other hand, is this also happening if you load the page on a new browser window? If the issue didn’t happen, you might be refreshing the page while on a specific area. 1. Have you set the Row Layout block to show in full width? If not yet, you can follow the steps in our post here – https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/documentation/block-tutorials/adding-a-fullwidth-row/
2. There’s no built-in option to do that. How about using a Tabs block? However, this will not take your users to other pages.

[On my product detail page: I have cross/upsell products, but can I turn it into a carousel, so I can show more items?]
It will show as a carousel if the related products are more than 3. Otherwise, a normal grid of products will be displayed.

[Can my woocommerce product also have video in the gallery, or only images] [My woocommerce products image gallery are square, can I change the aspect ratio to a rectangle?]
Both of these can be achieved if you are using the Kadence Shop Kit plugin.

Currently, it’s not possible to have two sidebars. You can add your vote or comment to this feature request:

For single posts or pages, you could create a sidebar-looking section using a Row Layout block. Sections can also be sticky.

This has just answered my question too, so thank you for the helpful post. I just have a follow-on question… my page now defaults to the anchored area at the bottom even without clicking the link. What have I done wrong? The page name does not contain the anchor text, I checked that.

Not long after I couldn’t access my admin panel at all so therefore had to resort to my developer disabling all plugins to gain access but we’ve since enabled all server side so the website works front end for users.

Although I’ve been advised to grant temp access on staging to troubleshoot the issue we’ve already identified the problem. Here’s an example:

[07-Aug-2023 11:22:48 UTC] PHP Deprecated: str_replace(): Passing null to parameter #3 ($subject) of type array|string is deprecated in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/kadence-page-transitions/admin/redux/inc/class.redux_helpers.php on line 677

The redux class issue is clear on all plugins and therefore requires a full fix. Can someone look into this ASAP as we can’t do any work on the site at all. It appears this has been an issue for some in the past too.

We are using PHP 8.2 and the latest version of WP.

Thank you for your response, it helped me so many steps forward. I still need some help with the points below. The other ones are fine now, awesome thank you.

Awesome. I think I am almost there!
There are 2 things I still can’t get to behave as I need.
A. I doesn’t go the full width of the content or page
B. If you see the example I sent earlier, the carousel items are links to various pages. I was also able to put links into it, however, in the original one, you can see that the select page has a border on the bottom of that carousel item. So the user knows on which layout he’s one. How can I achieve the same?

FYI This didn’t seem to change it for me. After some more digging after your suggestion, I found it under Woocommerce > product catalog > Design. Thank for the tip and pointing me in the right direction

Awesome this worked. I used the Catalog Off Canvas Widget. However, I am noticing an issue here, the max price isn’t fully visible. Is this a bug? see screenshot
