    Hi there!

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you as we don’t have support over the weekends.

    When I checked the page you gave us, I can see that you already have a custom CSS code added to change the background color – https://share.getcloudapp.com/5zuO2jAg.

    Could you confirm if you need more help with this?

    Kind regards,
    Karla

    Hi there!

    This ticket has been marked as resolved. To make sure that your question will not be missed, please create a new topic. This will let the support team see the ticket as new and “not resolved”.

    When I inspect your page, I am seeing a div by Jetpack. If you temporarily deactivate the plugin, will the space below the YouTube video decrease?

    Also, how are you embedding the YouTube video? I can see that there are width and height attributes and those are being used in the iframe – https://share.getcloudapp.com/Qwuwj87m. If you are adding the embed code, try to remove the width and height attributes.

    Another thing you can do is add this to your Customizer > Additional CSS:

    .entry-content-asset.videofit iframe {
        height: 100% !important;
        width: 100%!important;
    }

    I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

    Kind regards,
    Karla

    Hi, John!

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    When I viewed your website, there is no page where a sidebar layout is being applied. If you enabled it on a specific page only, could you specify which it is and give us the page URL so we can check better?

    For your reference, I am seeing that you’re using the FULLWIDTH page layout, not a sidebar layout – https://share.getcloudapp.com/mXuGbDmj.

    Let us know how we can help you further with this.

    Hi, Ian.

    The WooCommerece single product template doesn’t have a hook for the “SALE” badge. Refer to this visual hook guide – https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-visual-hook-guide-single-product-page/.

    I am not sure how the plugin you’re using for custom labels is adding it to the main gallery image. Could you confirm with them which hook are they adding the labels? You can then use the Custom Actions block again to execute that specific hook to show their labels and product gallery.

    I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

    Hi there,

    On my homepage I have a Post Grid Carousel with the taxonomy selected as “Categories” and the category is “USA National Parks”. I posted a Yellowstone Hiking Itinerary on July 4th and it is not showing up in this carousel. I have cleared all cache within WordPress and also my browser many times since July 4th. I tried editing my homepage by choosing a different category for this carousel and then changing it back to the USA National Parks category again, thinking it just needed a nudge to reload. I double checked that I actually assigned the USA National Parks category to the post in question, and I did. Any ideas?

    It doesn’t show up correctly regardless of whether I am logged into WordPress or not, which I thought was weird. Usually when I have a cache related issue, it looks right when I’m logged in and only looks wrong when I’m logged out.

    Thanks,
    Claire

    Hello,
    In the footer of my website, there is a menu. I found CSS codes that worked in conversations about comparable topics, but mine didn’t.
    Can the horizontal lines that appear beneath each link be removed? Go to to access the webpage.

    I’m using the Kadence theme on my Mux Tech Website, and my sidebar is acting up. It’s not displaying correctly on my site, even though I’ve checked all the settings. I want it to work smoothly, but it’s not showing up properly on certain pages. Any advice or tips to fix this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    Hi there!

    Could you specify which plugin was it? Does this plugin have settings? If it does, try to tweak the settings as it’s possible that a specific one is the cause.

    Also, if you could set up a staging website where the issue can be seen, that would be great. This will let us inspect the page HTML again and see what might be the issue.

    Kind regards,

    The Kadence Mobile Menu does not work when Popup Maker plugin installed. When I have Popup Maker installed, the Kadence theme injects the Kadence mobile menu code into the Popup Maker code (<div id=”pum-666″ class=”pum pum-overlay), making it impossible to access the mobile menu (<div id=”mobile-drawer”).

    Hi Karla

    > I can see the “From:” texts now showing on the page you gave. Do you need more help with this?

    Yes please, as I mentioned above I have used 2 columns one for ‘from’ and the other for the price but seems overkill and there is too much padding currently and cant see where to alter.

    The product is simple as it uses a Calculated Form Field plugin to calculate a price.

    Hi there,

    I found this page on your website where I believe the screenshot is from: Page URL redacted

    I can see that you are using the WordPress Image block for the image. There is a figcaption element being added by this block that is displaying the caption. See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nup7yer

    However, I am not sure where this can be set and how it behaves since this is a WordPress core block.

    I tried to add this block to my test website. I am able to display the figcaption if I enable the caption for this block and have the caption added in the media/image file.

    Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6u7QN6m

    Kindly check if you have these settings enabled on the block and the media file.

    See screenshot and screen recording:

    You can also try using the Kadence Advanced Image block.

    Please let us know how it goes, we’ll be more than happy to help.

    Best regards,
    Teejay.

    Hi, Chad!

    You’re CSS code is actually working. But you’d like to hide the original logo. So instead of adding the background image to the logo itself, add it to its link/anchor tag. Then, set the current logo’s opacity to 0:

    .page-id-751 .kt-header-position-above #logo a {
        background: url(/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Live-To-Learn-logo-2-blue-orange.png) !important;
        background-size: contain !important;
        max-height: 130px !important;
        background-repeat: no-repeat !important;
        margin-top: 20px;
    }
    .page-id-751 .kt-header-position-above #logo a .ascend-logo {
        opacity: 0;
    }

    Here’s how it should work – https://share.getcloudapp.com/Wnu6791J.

    I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

    Hi KTeam,

    I am looking to have a different logo for a specific page. I am needing to change the logo on this page only

    I did this on another Pinnacle themed website a many years ago – with your help on some CSS I was able to get the logo changed on this page

    I am having some difficulties trying to get this done on Ascend.

    Here is what I did but I am getting both logo’s on the page when I apply it.

    .page-id-751 .kt-header-position-above #logo a .ascend-logo {
    background: url(/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Live-To-Learn-logo-2-blue-orange.png) !important;
    background-size: contain !important;
    max-height: 130px !important;
    background-repeat: no-repeat !important;
    margin-top: 20px;
    }

    Thank you,
    Chad

    Hey,
    I want to make sure I understand your issue so I’m going to try and sum up.

    Social CSS for brand colors outputs if enabled, in the grand scheme of things, is a relatively small amount of CSS we drop into the header to handle all the brand colors. It’s simply a small way to lighten CSS files if you’re not using brand colors. Because it applies to both icons used in the header and in the footer, it’s not specific. But I heard you it’s an easy way to optimize the page size all be it in an almost unperceivable way. I’ve put a task on our board to change this up in the next version just to keep things rendered in CSS lighter.

    Outside of that you’re main thing is the theme_mods. You wrote:

    My Head Hook wp_head have long execute time. Clean WP installation with Kadence theme had about 150ms, but my production environment site had about 600ms.

    Something is wrong if you see that and I do not believe it has anything to do with the size of your theme mods.

    The way theme mods work is that the options table is loaded once from the databsae and pushed into an array with static defaults, the size of the mods wouldn’t make a difference at the sizes we are talking, even if you had every setting defined. The way “resets” work in theme mods is to put it back to “default” which is not the same as to put it back to empty. But again, this wouldn’t make a speed difference unless something is wrong on your site. Because default or empty the same thing happens they get dropped into an array with all the static defaults and then processed.

    So let me say I don’t think the 600ms you are seeing on production is because of kadence theme mods. I think there is more to investigate and track down. Also 600ms or even 150ms is longer than it should take for example on a testing site where I’m running 40+ plugins many of them are large like woocommerce, TEC, learndash, etc. my head hook loads in 40ms.

    So I would love to investigate more, can you get me access to a stage of your production site? I can try and track down what is happening.

    Ben

    Hello,

    When I add any product and go to cart page button: WYBIERZ PACZKOMAT is on the right, not under text: InPost Paczkomaty: 20zł.
    On mobile it looks even worse because button: WYBIERZ PACZKOMAT covers text: InPost Paczkomaty: 20zł.
    With other themes I have tested, there is no such problem.
    How can I fix it?

    Kind regards,
    Arek

    Hi Sara,

    From what I understand, you are looking to build a website that would also serve as digital signage. Digital signage typically involves the use of digital screens, such as LCD or LED panels, that are connected to a central content management system. This system allows users to remotely update and schedule the displayed content in real time, making it ideal for advertising, information dissemination, and interactive displays in various public or commercial settings.

    I am not familiar with the features of Formidable Forms’ Business tier. Perhaps you are planning to use the Landing Pages feature with the Geolocation feature.

    In terms of using just the Kadence Blocks Pro and/or Kadence Pro – Premium Addons for the Kadence Theme. The Pro features may not be enough to achieve this dynamic and customized website that relies on some complex conditions like location and schedule.

    You mentioned the dynamic data blocks, I believe you are referring to the Dynamic Contents feature. This would mostly require adding some custom fields to a post and pulling and displaying these data on the page. I imagine you would like to use this feature to add several custom fields for different schedules depending on the location.

    Example:

    Custom Fields:
    1. Schedule for location 1
    2. Schedule for location 2
    3. Schedule for location 3

    See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpul8yNQ

    The Dynamic content doesn’t have the conditions that will allow you to display content based on location. This is mostly used to determine which post will be the source of the data. In most cases “current post” is used because especially when creating a Content or Template Element. This only defines what post the data will be pulled from.

    See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uDOzPP

    The block’s visibility setting is mostly for determining whether to hide or show an element depending on the screen size and if the user is logged in or not.

    See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uvXzOL

    The block’s conditional display is mostly used to determine whether to display an element or not depending on the availability of data.

    See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuyoY8j

    The Element Hooks placement and show-on conditions are used to determine the position of the hooks where the elements will be displayed and which pages they will be applied.

    Here’s a reference to that feature: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-use-element-hooks/

    Currently, Kadence Conversions has some targetting options like the Target Request where you can set the conversion item to be active on a page based on the Query String. However, this cannot be used as a regular page. And this also doesn’t provide the complex conditions this project will require.

    See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEu4k8Z5

    I tried looking for specialized plugins for this type of system. I found plugins such as https://digitalsignagepress.com. However, this doesn’t look like it will provide the features you want for the type of digital signage that you are looking for.

    Perhaps you can try plugins such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/conditional-blocks. This might give you the complex conditions you need to build the pages with the option for location and schedule.

    I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help out.

    Best regards,
    Teejay.

    On the other hand, if your products are all variable products, there should be an option in the Kadence Shop Kit to control the output of the product prices. You can find the settings in Shop Kit > Variation Options. Watch this screen recording – https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluX0zJq.
