Hi,

I wondering, what is the easiest way to add widget (filter) on category page. I try to do that in Post/Page/Archive layout/ but nothing is showing off, when I switch to page with sidebar. Is there any solution for that? I don’t want to add another plugin, but if necessary I will..Can anyone guide me, how to do that please.

Maybe I didn’t describe it well enough.
When I’m on a sub-page, for example this here https://angelmagazin.de/angelausruestung/angelschirm/, whenever I open the menu, the menu-item “Angelausrüstung” is expanded, as it is the parent-page of the page I am on.

I just don’t want this to happen, so the parent-item in the menu should not expand. The problem here is, that the list of sub-items is quite long, and the user might not see the rest of the menu items, which could be interesting for him.

Is that possible?

Hi, Chandler!

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you here.

In our dynamic options, you should see the Content Source. You can select the pages/posts for this option so their dynamic content will be shown instead of the current page’s. See this screen recording – https://share.getcloudapp.com/6quN1Wrb.

On the other hand, you will need to do this for every “related” page. There is no block or dynamic content option yet to do this multiple times automatically.

IMHO, this is kind of a borderline bug fix over a feature request though. I think 90% of people who want to use Elements within their product pages for more control over their product descriptions will want this to be placed above these tab0s, not below them. That’s why I was so surprised it wasn’t already there.

Hopefully this gets implemented soon because at the moment, I have to hide the tabs using code in order for it to work like I need it to.

Hey,
Thanks for the link! If you navigate to Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images, what size do you have set for the main image width? Try setting the value to at least 600. This is the recommended size to make the displayed image on the single product page not blurry. Let me know if the issue remains.

They’re usually 800X800 or 800X1000. Also note that the images are clear on mobile/tablet. This only happens on desktop.

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I viewed your website and I can still see the issues. The mobile header popup content code is on the page, it’s just not showing after clicking the hamburger icon.

I saw that you have the WP Rocket plugin. If you temporarily deactivate this, will the issues be fixed? If they did, try to disable other options on the plugin to make sure these issues will not happen again.

Hey.

Currently, when I’m on a page, that is linked in the menu, the header-menu opens up automatically and exposes the sub-items. As I have many sub-pages in the menu, i don’t want this to happen.

The theme is configured with a sticky header. The id=”kad-mobile-banner-sticky-wrapper” doesn’t appear with a screen width between 992px and 1000px. You can resize everything if you have a larger size. The header remains static if you refresh the page in this width range.

The related products section of my store seems to display a somewhat blurry version of the product image, even though the product images are high quality and can even be viewed in high quality on the product pages. Anyway to get this to show at a better resolution?

Sorry, you’re still not understanding what I’m asking.

I want to create a

list of pages that uses each pages Custom Field for the name, instead of the page name. This list would be displayed INSIDE another page. I have a assigned a taxonomy to these pages, but that really is not important – that is just how I will query them.

What I am trying to accomplish is linking to related pages from inside a main page, and using a custom field for the page name and anchor text.

okay, got it, I was having trouble finding the embed code on youtube for shorts, but found it eventually

the issue I now have is that many of the parameters options for the video behavior don’t work…whereas on another site I have they do…

specifically this is the videos placed in the video tab on the product page… I cannot remove the “watch again on youtube” option when the video completes, or send it back to the start of the video

&modestbranding=1 doesn’t work

this is in mobile device view here…

The second problem is when I attempt to embed a video in the product slider (as shown in your second video)…. when I added the embed code the first time I got a warning from WordFence that it was going to block the script…however it gave me an option to allow it (which I did)… however when I attempt to add the embed code now, it allows me to do it however it gets disappeared as soon as I hit the update button for the product. In other words it won’t allow me to add videos to the shopkit product slider.

Hi there!

I think that is the “Above Content” page title section. To hide that for a specific page (including WooCommerce pages), follow these steps:

1. Edit the page.
2. Go to the Page Settings.
3. Choose DISABLE for the Page Title option – https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1u6vnrp

This will fall as a feature request as the Portfolio Grid/Carousel block can only display a filter for a single taxonomy. There is no option to show multiple filters.

You may add the feature request on this page – https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/feature-requests/. However, please note that we cannot give an estimated date for when this will be implemented.

On the other hand, you may also try and look for third-party plugins that can filter posts with multiple attributes/filter options.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding.

WordPress Pages does not have any taxonomy (categories) by default. Could you confirm if you are referring to WordPress Posts?

If you are referring to Posts, there should be category archive pages. You may override the archive item loop content template using the Kadence Theme Pro addon + Kadence free theme. For showing the custom field values dynamically, you will need the Kadence Blocks Pro addon.
