Hello there,

I would like to change the font of the Archive Layout (pages) title. Is there a way to achieve this with CSS? In the Kadence Archive Layout section, I can only customize the title color but not the title font.

Hi John,

You can hide blocks in Page Options > Preferences > Blocks and uncheck them. Here’s a video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/RBuBDDO4

That applies to all post/page editors for all users.

Hi there,

This can be achieved using Kadence Pro plugin’s Hooked Element feature. Here’s a video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGuZGG1G

Basically, you can hook the dynamic image and read more button that pull the dynamic link from the custom field. Target the page where you display the Post Grid/Carousel via Hooked Element’s Display Settings.

Hey, thanks for the reply.

So I was specifically trying to insert e-acute accents and also an em dash.

I’m new to WordPress and previously used Dreamweaver so the process was something like insert > html > special characters > then there was a list to choose from (or you could use a keyword shortcut if you knew it for a particular character).

So I’m just wondering how I would insert less common special characters like the two mentioned above without having to copy and paste them from another webpage.

Hi there!

WooCommerce filters will only show on pages that list products (product archive pages). They cannot filter other posts.

Also, the sidebar layout should be set in Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Catalog. This is where you’ll adjust the layout settings for the WooCommerce archive pages (shop, product categories, product tags). Could you select the sidebar layout here and add the filter widgets to the sidebar area you choose?

Never mind! For anyone else who comes across this; This bit of CSS did the trick:

I have created a custom preformatted button (with gradient colour). I want to use the exact same one in hundreads of pages. I copy it via “edit HTML” but when I want to re-use it in a different page, the formatting does not work and the button looks different.

Hi we are using kadence pro on our new shop in development

i have succesfully set up design on product pages loops templates and products, but i’m missing the template to customise the main category loops as i’m missing also kadence woo template blocks relatives for category all blocks i have at disposal are for product (product image, product meta , product description etc…

my main goal is to display the “Product Category Bottom Descritption” or the main category description on each category item…

I inserted the kadence block “posts” in homepage, but feature images from latest posts have problem with web accessibility.

You said you’re using the Greenthumb starter template, so you can use the Customizer to navigate to Posts/Pages Layout > Archive Layout and set the right or left sidebar layout. Do you have the sidebar on your Archive Layout? Do you have a link to a page where the problem occurs? When I add a sidebar to my archive layout, the sidebar works.

You can remove the latest posts from your homepage by setting your home page to be static from Settings > Reading.

I’m seeing a very similar issue using the Background Settings on a Row Layout block. In the editor I see the 4 slides working as expected, but once published/updated and I go and have a look on the actual website, only the first slide is displayed. I’ve looked in Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Safari and across multiple devices, and see the same reesult. 🙁

Hi, Christoph!

I understand what you mean.

However, it is the default behavior of the mobile menu and there is no built-in way to change that. To give you an overview, there will be extra CSS classes to make the sub-menu items of the current page expanded. See this screen recording – https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuOJmW0. This is controlled using Javascript.

What I could recommend is adding a feature request on this page for an option to not expand the current page’s submenu items. However, please note that we cannot give an estimated date for when this will be added.

Another thing you can do is to create a shorter menu and assign it to your Mobile Navigation.

After enabling this, it automatically adds similar posts to the bottom of every blog post. The titles of the related posts are H3. I use lots of H3 subtitles in my articles, so I want to change the related posts title formatting.

I am looking for a way to change the individual post titles within the Similar Posts section from H3 to H5. There is probably a way to do it using the Code Snippets plugin.

After the change, I would also prefer these H5 (the individual post titles within the Similar Posts section) to look like they do now (like the current H3).
