You can set up an RSS feed on any page you want.

If you are using the Gutenberg editor, you can use the Gutenberg RSS block.

For the SiteOrigin page builder, you can add the RSS widget.

It can also be added to your sidebar, you can search for RSS block or widget in Appearance > Widgets depending on your Widgets editor if it’s block-based or the classic one.

Before purchasing your theme, Does kadence theme have the option to add carousel as an option to the upsell products and related products instead of in grid design on the single product page? Doing this will make the product page more concise and nice like shopify theme.

I have seen some people ask for this feature? It seems many famous themes do not want to add this feature, like generatepress and blocksy.

Otherwise, import works via the starter templates. But is useless in this case, because the particular page is not im-portable, as it has a filter part of the Post Grid/Carousel block.

In short, I can’t access the library when I want to do it via editing a created page and use the “Row Layout” to import this particular page, or the library here does not recognize that the Pro Plugins are installed and activated? What can be the reason. What are the possible solutions?

Hey,

1. That is intentional. When you replace the entire content of something (be it for 404 or for a post single page) you take total control of that content and thus you need to set your own padding because it’s no longer using the theme template. While I understand you find this annoying consider how annoying it would be if wanted that padding to be removed when you were creating your own template. It goes both ways.

2. The elements have a front-end access to support page builders like elementor which only work on post types that are front end accessible. Thus the elements don’t have a 404 because they will render when the user has the correct permissions otherwise redirect. Certainly, I can update that redirect to use the home url instead of the site URL.

In the next version of Kadence Pro I’m going to be filtering this public status within the post-type registration to disable all front-end access if one of the page builders that require it is not installed.

Is there a way to open and close Kadence accordions with javascript? I have tried reading the badger accordion docs and even the Kadence block source code and can’t seem to figure it out. Basically I want a button to open all the accordions on the page (or a select few). I have tried simulating a click but that forces the accordion animation to play etc and requires a delay before opening the next one with a click.

Hi Dane,

This checkbox is part of a form and I don’t see any AJAX request when I check/uncheck it.
So, seems that I have to submit a reply for the checkbox value to be sent to the server.

I just unchecked “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” on this topic and I didn’t submit the form.
Obvioulsy, when you refresh the page, the checkbox is checked again.

Can you please reply something here? We’ll get to the bottom of it 🙂

The Hooked Elements slug is for preview. If you notice, there is a preview option for the elements, just like the pages and posts.

“You said that element slugs are private, but private pages in contrast do not redirect, they display the 404 page. I would expect the same behavior from element slugs, whatever the slug is for.”
I’ve confirmed this with our developers. I’ll update you once I hear back from them.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!

I assume that you’re using an iPad Pro device in a landscape position? Since the device has a large resolution, it will still show the desktop version of the header.

There is no hover/mouse hover event for these devices, only touch. This is the reason why we have a style to not recognize the touch event for the parent menu items – the sub-menu items will not be shown if the page will be redirected to the parent menu item’s link.

On the hand, if you want to make the parent menu items’ links work for touch devices such as iPads, add this to Customizer > Additional CSS:

 .wp-site-blocks .nav--toggle-sub .menu-item--has-toggle:not(.menu-item--toggled-on)>a {
    pointer-events: none;
 }
}

If you have any website cache, clear it after saving the custom CSS code. Let us know if it works for you.

Could you try clearing your browser cache and see if that will fix the issue on your browser? Additionally, if you’re using an outdated browser version, try to update it. I was using the Edge version 106.0.1370.42 on my screen recording.

Hi,
I upload a banner image with the kadence block in my wordpress website home page as a banner. And the image is going outside of the screen. I set the image side full width so, where is going wrong in it?
Due to this whole website move left to right right to left. I mean the width in greater than the screen size. Kindly tell me how can I fix it?

I’m unable to get the image to display using Kadence Blocks Pro and Advanced Custom Fields Pro. I am using the latest versions of both. Here is what I’m trying to do. I’ve set the Custom Fields up as Repeater fields for a person’s name, their position in the company and then to display an image of them using the Advanced Image Module.
I’ve added a Row Layout, added an advanced image and enabled Dynamic Data. I’ve then set the name as Current Post and then added the repeater field name e.g about_0_persons_image. I then go the page, add the image and save the page and it neither appears in the preview or the page when updated.

I thought that maybe there was a problem with the Advanced Image module but when I tried adding Dynamic Data to a row layout background the result was the same. In Advanced Custom fields I have tried all three option of Image Array, Image Url or Image ID and the result is the same.

Any ideas? Thanks.

i don`t know what the problem is.. i watched my own and several other pages here and then and noticed, that it´s sometimes working and sometimes not.. for example yesterday it was working, today not. What is the problem??

Copy & paste isn’t always easy; try it with columns! I have 3 columns, wanted to create 4 and copy the last one and replicate it. Each column is a section, the section cannot be duplicated and the copy/paste just dumps a lot of ‘code’ into the new column area. I try to convert to HTML and copy and paste that over; but Kadence and HTML causes a heck of a lot of problems with pages hanging/crashing and going into ‘Attempt Block Recovery’ almost 100% of the time.

Great theme – but some rough edges to it when working on the back end build.

The row layout block hast a default padding of 25px top and bottom, when deleting these values they revert to default after publishing/updating the page.
I know i can always enter a zero, but since other the other padding left and right have no value, this is unexpected behavior. Why is there a default top and bottom padding at all?
