Hey Omar,
I’m seeing this error on your site: You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
Are you adding the api key anywhere besides misc settings? Or are you using any plugins that would be adding a google maps api?

I have been around for some wile with Kadence and i think i miss a good Kadence Form Widget

Sometimes the Contact page is not flexible enough for my needs and i would build one from scratch but then i have to install some extra plugin just to make the Contact Form.

And speaking of the Contact page, it would be nice to have an option where to show the page content, like before/after/in-line with the form. This would be nice to set for the map also (like bottom or top of page full width)

P.S. … a thumbs up for Josh’s ideas. A page where you showcase the most beautifull Webpages made with Kadence Themes would also be great for you and the community. A star rating system would make sense here

Hi,

i have a google map on the bottom of my start page here:

this has the API from Google in Misc. Stettings and is working just fine.

As i made a Contact page and activated the Theme map, none of the maps show anymore, do i need to do some extra stuff ?

Already tried :
Load Core Google Scripts? (Only turn this off if this is the second+ map on a page) FALSE

Now i disabled the Contact map, and the map on the first page shows just fine again.

Thanks Ben,

I bought the theme as a friend on mine did a website for me using your theme. The theme recommended other plugins such as pagebuilder, revolution slider, etc. I decided to give doing a website a go but I am not seeing any recommendations this time after downlading and installing the premium theme.

Have I done something wrong?

1. You can do that with css like this:

.page-id-11 .kt-si-imagecol.img-ktsi-left {
    width: 30%;
}
.page-id-11 .kt-animate-fade-in-left {
    width: 70%;
}

Just paste that into your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.

2. Here ya go:

[kt_imgsplit image="imagelink.jpg" height="400"]
Content Here
[/kt_imgsplit]

3. You would need to turn off your animation in (Theme Options > Misc Settings).

The shortcode will display an archive of your portfolio posts in replace of the portfolio grid page template. You shouldn’t be adding it to any single posts. Am I misunderstanding what you’re wanting?

1. Split Content widget is usually splitted in 50% 50%. Is it possible to use it with 30% 70%?
2. I know how to use the widget, but how can I set up the Split Content shortcode?
3. Is it possible to get rid of the soft sliding effect, when I scroll over a split content widget?

Hello Ben, I’m having a problem with the map not showing up on my contact page. I have tried several options that are mentioned below.
1. Adding the Google Maps API to the Theme Misc area – No solution (even though not having this box populated on another website and the map works.)
2. Creating a new API – No solution
3. Adding a specific HTTP to the accept requests from these HTTP referrers (web sites) – No solution
4. Tried different browsers – It shows up on my mobile device but then shows a France address.
5. Cleared website cache both from the website itself and on Cloudflare – No solution
6. Disabled Store Locator which actually works fine – No solution
7. Disable cache plugin – No solution
8. Add a Virtue Google Map widget to the footer widget area – Both maps (Contact and the widget in the footer) shows up perfectly.

Why would the map only show up when there is another map on the screen? Weird…. The map worked fine in the past but since I don’t check the Contact Us page of the website after every update I don’t know when it stopped showing up in the first place. Please help.
The website name will be in the next post.

Hello,

I have some problems when sharing the pages of my website on Facebook. My website is http://www.travelhysteria.com

I am using Yoast SEO, and I don’t have problem with the posts (I am adding an image for each post i publish, in the Yoast SEO social section below the article I’m writing).
I have problem doing the same with the pages. I do the same thing, but it really doesn’t work: if you try to share the homepage or this other one, for example, you’ll see some random images or no image at all.

Is there some conflict with theme settings?

When I set my testimonial grid page to ‘show all’ instead of a value none of the testimonials appear.

When I set it to any value per page (say 16 per page) they do show up.

This means I can not show all the testimonials and have to have sub pages.

One thing to mention is that ‘all’ was set on the draft version of my site but problem exists when deploying on the actual site (a different WP installation but up to date on both WP and Theme).

I have an image at the top of the page that will not resize responsively, although it is set up the same as the other images which do. Also, it is tiling at the bottom when repeat is disabled. It will resize width and height to a certain point, then width remains fixed, then it pops back to full size as the window gets smaller. On mobile the top image is full size, not resized at all.

Hi,
It’s still not working for me… I’m still not able to enable multiple slides in the “Home Slider 2” to rotate them on the home page like I use to before. Maybe I’m confused or I’m not seeing a setting that’s right in front of me… Would you please do the following for me in dashboard and explain the steps you took?

1. Activate the full-width version of the theme
2. Disable the Flex Slider
3. Enable the Slider Revolution
4. Click on “Home Slider 2” and make all of the existing slides in there to rotate one after another on the home page.

Thanks Ben will contact the folks at Divi and let you know their response.
Switching to pagebuilder – would that include having to redo the pages again.
I have been working quite hard at something I have little knowledge on, but seem to have
done o.k. so far – would hate to have to start all over again if I switched to pagebuilder.

What are your thoughts on this?

You should look at getting better hosting. 🙂

I still suggest you use shortcodes in your page content, I can add a workaround in the next update to allow wpml string translation to manually set the post type per language.
