Protfolio multi language problem on Home Page

Hi Ben,
Please help me with my trouble on the portfolio configuration.
My problem is that i have on the “Home” page layout configured 2 portfolio zones one “carousel” and one “full portfolio”
each of them are targeting different portfolio categories. The portfolio category type target did work with 2 languages (WMPL), but it doesn’t work anymore.
In the main language the portfolios are rendered as proper, in the other languages the portfolios are empty.
In the backend the customizer UI I can do settings as normal, when I switch in the backend the language then usually all settings are the same as for the other language – except from the portfolio category type setting.
