Hello,

I have two different issues regarding Social media icons. The website is http://www.travelhysteria.com

1 – I have 4 customized icons in the homepage, below the header slider. In the mobile version they are just too big. Is there a way to make them responsive? I’d like to have them smaller on mobile version.

2 – I have some other icons in the sidebar on the right, using the Virtue Widget. Is it possible to have the bigger and colored? I couldn’t find any other widget.

Hi,
just a quick question: I would like to have some words in the caption for images in galleries strong, not all of them though. I can’t use when adding the caption in the media library. Is there a way to do this? If it was a basic image, I could add in the html of the page, but it’s gallery images added with a shortcode.

Hey Susan,
The product filter is not a query filter. It is set up to only filter the products on the specific page it is on. It will not work if your products expand into more than one page. You would either need to add more products to one page (removing the option to have page 2, 3, etc.) or else use a query filter plugin like this- https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-ajax-filters/

Product filter (category tabs) does not work on page(2) on the shop page.
If you browse the products on page 1, then go to page 2 and then click on a filter, only one product that has been sold comes up.
Is that supposed to be like this?

Hey,
I think there is some confusion. You’ve never been able to add multiple sliders through the theme options > home slider. Only one slider. That slider can have many “slides” but it’s still one slider. For the rev slider you add more “slides” in your rev slider settings for the “slider”.

You can add another slider into the page but not through the theme options.

Yes, i want to be able to have multiple rotating sliders on the homepage (like I use to). In homepage sliders, I select rev. slider, then “Home Slider 2” and it works. But, inside “Home Slider 2” I have made many slider banners (Slide 1, Slide 2, Slide 3, etc), but it’s only allowing me to select one slider for display. When I click on a different slider to enable it, it automatically disables the one I had enabled prior. I use to be able to enable and disable as many sliders as I needed to….

This could mean the plugin is not using a search in wordpress but instead editing the core query of your default posts archive page.

I think to change the title in that case you would need to hook into the title when the plugin was running. For that you would need a child theme and you would need code from the plugin author for how to tell when they hook into the page.

Thanks for the quick reply Ben. That works perfectly. I use a plugin called Booster for WooCommerce to edit the “Add to Cart” label and other stuff. The only thing left to change would be the “Cart Totals” on the Cart page. Is there a string for that as well?

I’m confused. are you adding the sliders to your page? You can only add one slider through the theme options home slider. If you wanted to add more you would need to add into the page. Is that what your doing?

Problem is: I have no access whatsowver to the dashboard so cannot deactivate Polylang (By the way I would not even need it, the site will stay in English forever).

I just installed the “search and filter”-plugin. When a search is done and the visitor is redirected to the result page – the heading of that page is “Latest Posts”. How would I change that heading?

It seems to be different compared to the build in search plugin, as that plug in directs the visitor to a page with the heading “Search results for xxxx”.

All guidance makes me happy – thanks!

Hi Ben,
Now, for some reason the rev. slider is only allowing me to select one slider for the home page. When I click on the second one, it disabled the previous automatically… I use to be able to select as many sliding banners as i needed. What setting would fix this?
