In reply to: featured products images run over footer
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
I’m a virtue premium user for (*Login to see link )
I’ve used virtue free for (*Login to see link ) because I needed a translated virtue theme in my language (Persian).
anyway, the problem I have is regarded to virtue free on (*Login to see link ):
on home layout I’ve enabled “page content” and in the homepage I’ve added this shortcode ([featured_products per_page=”3″ columns=”3″]) to have featured products shown in homepage.
the featured products are displayed but the problem is that whenever anyone opens the website for the first time, the featured products images open on the footer, I mean they interfere with footer text, but after you refresh the homepage it displays correctly.
How can I resolve this?
It’s really bad that first time visitors see the homepage broken.
also I have used the following CSS:.topbarmenu ul li a {
font-size: 16px;
}.footercredits p {
font-size: 18px;
}.footernav ul li a {
font-size: 18px;
}.footerclass {
font-size: 18px;
}.widget_kadence_contact .vcard i {
font-size: 22px;
}#containerfooter h5 {
font-size: 21px;
}#containerfooter .col-md-4 {
text-align: center;
}#nav_menu-3 {
float: right;
padding-right: 130px;
}cc_woocommerce {
margin: 0 auto; max-width: 1100px; }
.product .entry-summary { clear:none !important; }
.woocommerce.columns-3 {white-space:normal} ul.products {white-space:normal; margin-bottom:0} ul.products li.product {margin-bottom:0}
Thank you in advance for your help!

August 31, 2016 at 10:15 pm #110846In your theme options > shop settings scroll down to the Product Image Sizes and turn off Enable Product Image Aspect Ratio on Catalog pages.
Go to woocommerce settings > products > display and set the catalog image size to whatever you want and MAKE SURE TO TURN OFF HARD CROP
Install this plugin and regenerate your images: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

In forum: Virtue ThemeBen,
The CSS below worked to remove all Add To Cart buttons, but it also hid the variable selections/drop-downs on the individual product pages. I want to hide the Add To Cart buttons everywhere (shop and category pages, related items, anywhere Add To Cart appears) but I also want users to be able to still choose options to see the various pricing for each option-combination on the individual product pages. I just don’t want them to be able to Add To Cart.
Is there a variation on this CSS that displays the variation options (drop-downs on individual product pages) while still hiding the Add To Cart button? Maybe an override using the ‘important’ directive in CSS or something like that?:
.product_item .kad_add_to_cart, div.product form.cart{
display:none;
}Also, is there some CSS that can be added for the addition of a text line (maybe even simply HTML with a link, etc. – not sure what’s all doable with just CSS) in place of the Add To Cart button on the individual product pages, such as: ‘Online purchasing will be coming soon! Feel free to continue to browse our catalog. Please call 1-800-PRODUCT for more information or to make a purchase over the phone.’? (This would just appear globally for all individual produce pages in place of the Add To Cart button.)
Thanks in advance!

I just deleted the non-functioning gallery, then used the Create Gallery option (as I had done previously), copying the same settings as on the functional pages to make sure they were all alike. :/
I’ll re-create each of the pages and see if that solves the problem. If not, I’ll check out the plugins too. Thanks.In forum: Virtue ThemeHello, I was hoping I could get some assistance with how to size my Product images so the Product image fits entirely within the picture box (window) for each product in the Shop and Product Sale Sections of the website (see link Examples):
*Login to see link
[in home page product images under the Product Sale sections are larger than the presentation window]*Login to see link
[In the Shop home page I have the same issue.]Interesting thing the thumbnail picture in “recently viewed Products” looks fine. Have tried scanning images to a small pixel size and in the Media section of WordPress have tied resizing as well with no success. I currently use a child theme (Child Theme Configurator version 2.1.2) along with my Virtue Premium theme
Current Theme
Virtue – Premium ChildVersion: 1.0.1442637989By Child Theme Configurator
Not sure how to correct it so product images look and present properly, any help would be greatly appreciated.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Custom links
So this isn’t actually a theme issue, it looks like the WP Gallery Custom Links developers are no longer updating this plugin. I will talk with the theme developer about creating a plugin that does this. For now, a workaround would be to use page builder and add virtue: image widgets to create a gallery-type layout. The virtue image widget allows for custom links.
Hope that’s helpful!Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
I’m not sure what I did to cause the revolution slider not to show up on the homepage. it says that the slider allias does not exist. inside of a red box instead of displaying the banners. I’m currently using the different slider for the time being until this is resolved.Thank you,

Hey D,
In the Kadence Slider settings you should see an option to set the slider to Full height. Does that work for you?
If you want to remove the logo on the homepage you can use this css:.home div#logo { display: none; }Just paste that into your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.

Yes, I tried to redo the gallery on the Billy Pugh page and, as you can see from the link, it’s made no difference to it working. I could redo the entire page & see if that works, but I’m worried it might happen again & we’ll still be none the wiser.
Yes, theme version is latest.
Thanks.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Image Captions on a New Portfolio Page
So when you create a portfolio item the main editor is the visual editor. Do you have pagebuilder installed and activated? If so, you should see a page builder tab beside on the top right of the editor. Click that then click “add widget”. From there you can select the Virtue: Gallery widget then add your images and give them captions. And ensure that you have show captions set to on.
Does that make it a bit clearer?Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Media Gallery display
Hi Team,
On our website we have pages that include a media gallery of 2-3 images in one column and text in another.
This morning it came to my notice that on our services pages two are displaying their images as they always have and two have completely no images. I’m the only person with access, I haven’t edited these pages between when they were functioning and now.
Checking the settings on both the working and non-working pages – there seems to be no difference and no obvious (to me) cause for it. The media galleries are visible on the edit screen, just not on the live page.
Is this an issue with the theme or is there something else going on? All themes/plugin versions are to be up to date, with the exception of Woocommerce, which we currently don’t use.Links to working pages:

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Image Captions on a New Portfolio Page
Hmm. So I actually don’t believe there’s an option to display the caption on or below the image when using the portfolio settings carousel. What I would recommend is adding a virtue: gallery widget through page builder in the visual editor in your portfolio post and turning the captions on in the widget settings. Then you can set the Project Layout in the portfolio settings to Above. Does that make sense?

Just set up a new site via GoDaddy WordPress hosting, loaded Pinnacle, but, I keep receiving this message when trying to save changes – “There was a problem with your actions. Please try again or reload the page.”. I have no plugins or anything beyond default at this point, please advise?

Hey,
You would just need to add the page id. If you post a link to the specific page I can help. Or see here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLg2T1AvmFEHannah
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeAugust 31, 2016 at 1:45 pm #110790Hi for some reason I am unable to display the captions to the images on my new portfolio page – I am using carousel slider. I see the caption as I hover over the picture but would like to see it underneath the picture in the carousel. I’ve researched the support forum but the information I find on captions is a bit confusing. I don’t see a clear direction on how to address the issue. If someone can please help.
