    In reply to: Equal Height Info Box

    #280283

    Hi All,

    I have for info boxes in a row. These boxes have different information in them. links to PDF Files and links to pages within thevsite.

    At the moment I am using the following CSS to make all the boxes one size height.

    .kt-blocks-info-box-link-wrap {
    min-height: 280px !important;
    }

    But when I hand the site off, there is going to be a point when the client puts more information in the box than I have allowed for.

    But if I use 100% each box shows different heights depending on its content.

    Is there a way to get around this so all the four boxes show one height and look nice?

    PS, Love the Kadence podcast.

    All the very best.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    The featured image size is determined by the theme you’re currently using. However, the most desired featured image size in WordPress is 1200 x 628 px (pixels). Meaning, your featured images should have a width of 1200 px and a height of 628 px.

    But as for Kadence Theme, we recommend you upload images at least 1600px x 1600px, but not larger than 3000px x 3000px. That’s because WordPress will output your images in a format that allows the browser to choose the correct size based on the space the image is taking on your page and the quality of the screen.

    You can refer to this Kadence Theme blog about Image sizes and optimization: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/best-practices-for-images-sizes-and-optimization-in-wordpress/

    Hi there!

    I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

    It seems like those three pages do not have the “Above Title” title section enabled. Just to confirm, are those pages not exist before you imported the starter template?

    I tried importing it on my local host environment but it is quite different from what happened to yours. The shop page and cart pages are okay but I needed to do some adjustments to the Checkout page – https://share.getcloudapp.com/6quGQj00.

    To fix the pages on yours, try to go to Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Page Layout or each page’s Page Settings.

    On the other hand, I also sent a note regarding this to our developers.

    Kind regards,
    Karla

    Hi, Ron!

    I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

    I inspected your webpage and the heading’s styles are coming from Elementor. Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/BluWYkko.

    Please could you go to Elementor Settings and double-check if you also checked the “Disable Default Fonts” option? This should follow the theme’s typography settings, not Elementor’s. You can also refer to this Elementor post, under the “To Apply Theme Styles To Elementor Elements:” heading – https://elementor.com/help/theme-style-global-settings/.

    I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Regards,
    Karla

    Hi Edward,

    Thank you for reaching out to us and apologies for the delayed response.

    Can you please try to set the Target pages and Target Visitors then toggle on the Enable Repeat Control? Here’s the screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nu7Evgr

    What it does is to prevent conversions from appearing if a user has closed one out.

    Hi,

    I have two related questions:

    1. How to remove my black footer from the WC SHOP page only?

    2. My shop page is actually larger (in laptop mode) but the footer takes part from the body content. I dont see the bottom navigation bar (above footer) anymore. What CSS do I need to change or add here? The navigation bar is visible in mobile or smaller screen.

    Please be kindly to tell me both solutions, if you can.

    Thank you very much

    Schema should be handled by your SEO plugin. This is the new standard.

    A note about breadcrumb schema, I believe it’s not valid to have breadcrumbs schema without actually having breadcrumbs on your page. So you will want to enable breadcrumbs in the customizer.

    In this product page:

    If you click on the product image, a double pop-up appears. It requires 2 actions to close both pop-ups:

    Is it possible to have a slide-in appear when a logged-in user accesses a specific page for the first time
    or
    when a user in a specific accesses a specific page for the first time

    1)
    On the other hand, cross-sells or upsells are a feature of the WooCommerce plugin. For it to show on the product pages, you’ll need to manually add them for each product. Here’s a link to their knowledge base – https://woocommerce.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/.

    ABOUT THIS: IT DOESNT WORK FOR CROSS SALES, EVEN IF I ADD PRODUCT MANUALLY THEY ARE OVERRIDE BY RANDOM PRODUCTS IN SAME CATEGORY. I CAN ONLY MAKE THEM SHOW UP-SELL. I HAVE ALSO TRIED UNABLEING THE FEATURE IN THE THEME BUT THEN EVEN IF MANUALLY ADDED THE CROSS SELL PRODUCTS WILL NOT SHOW UP IF THE “SHOW RELATED PRODUCTS” IS OFF

    ear Kadence team,

    I suddenly have a border around the variation options in Woocommerce and I’m unable to change this in the code .. can’t seem to find where it is.
    This is one of the pages:
    The grey lines around the variations below the price and before adding it to your cart.

    let me know, tnx in advance!

    #280230

    When adding items to cart, I can add one item to the card but then for each additional item that I attempt to add, it seem to try but never adds. I can refresh the screen after each item and this seems to allow the next item add attempt to succeed.

    I disabled by cart plug-in and the same issue persists. I can’t add another item until I refresh the page. Cart developer WPC, has some support threads that seem to suggest there may be an issue with the Theme and AJAX.

    Any ideas?

    I imported the Greenthumb starter template on a fresh WordPress installation with Woocommerce installed.
    I am on a local WordPress installation, so I can not share a link, but I’ve attached the screenshots below. The shop page, cart page and checkout page do not have proper styling.

    #280208

    It works well when I scroll down in “gallery page” and “about page” but it get overlayed in Contact page when I scroll down.
    I made contact page with kadence blocks and I have tried to change Z index in the structure menu but it doesnt work. I’ve been trying to resolve it with css but with no exit.
    Sorry if it sounds silly, thanks for all! :3

    Hi Dean,

    Thank you for reaching out to us and apologies for the delayed reply.

    Can you please try adding this custom CSS code by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS?

    .twitter-timeline.twitter-timeline-rendered {
    margin-left:auto;
    margin-right:auto;
    }

    I’ve tried this on my test site and to the URL of the page that you sent us and it worked.

    Here, please have a look:https://share.getcloudapp.com/7KukLnvE

    As you can see, I’ve added the css code using DevTool and it made the block aligns in the middle.

    Please let us know how it goes. Thanks!

    Cheers,
    Dane

    This has NOT been resolved. Siteground & Sucuri Support have done extensive testing where they working on staging – tested both without firewall and with. Siteground did extensive testing around all the same including IP addresses, using staging sites. the list of things checked it too numerous to recount here and is specific to my hosting/security (private)

    Please see screen captures for the console error information – I have included only a small portion

    My issue wtih fonts has ben resolved

    I still have these error blocks all over the place.
    I finally used elementor to build out a the page with the table/icons.I have been struggling with trying to find a solution for several weeks.

    thanks for your assistance
