August 9, 2016 at 10:57 pm #107046In terms of the portfolio area you don’t have your portfolio carousel set in a fullwidth stretched pagebuilder row. You need to click to edit the row and make sure to change the row to fullwidth stretched.

In forum: Virtue ThemeAugust 9, 2016 at 10:47 pm #107042Do you have a page with a url slug of “projects” you can’t have conflicting url slugs with pages and a post type in wordpress.
If you can post a link that helps a lot in allowing us to see what the issue is.

I modified Portfolio Options -> Portfolio Permalink Base,
and resaved permalinks of portfolio pages.
The permaklinks in pages were changed but, once clicked, it gave Page Not Found Error 404.
Did I do something wrong? I also tried creating new portfolio pages. The results were same. Anyone knows how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Add text near by mini cart icon in primary menu
Hi Ben!
I added the code. Nothing changed. This is my site http://www.mypizza.fi/tori/ you will see the mini cart in the primary menu at the top right. And this is the other site which I want the same http://www.kotipizza.fi/fi . You will see “Kassalle” text which means to Cart/Checkout page. I would like to add the same text which makes it easier to notice for some people. p.s. If it is something so diffucult don’t bother, because it is also ok like without text. I just think the people who doesn’t use web-shops often like old people or something.
thanks anyway

In the virtue theme page builder, Layoutsexample page 2 there is a template that has a header, menu, and slider at the top. Below the slider are 4 boxes with text that change color on hover. They are titled Responsive, tons of options, cleand design and eCommerce. What are they built with and how do i use them? The html shows only an “icon box” and i don’t see any widget that seems to be the same. In the page builer, they appear to be inserted with a text widget. I’m stumped!

August 9, 2016 at 2:20 pm #106998Hey,
The issue with updating and empty folders wouldn’t have anything to do with how large the jump is. It’s likely an issue with permissions. Are you on a windows server? Have you contacted your host to see what php error is being output.The my-account page is usually slightly delayed you will see updated through the admin of your site before they are on the my-account page. Although now 3.8.3 is there.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: woocommerce file override question
I’m trying to customize the display of the woocommerce cart page, just simple changes to the HTML. Normally, this is done by overriding the file in the woocommerce plugin by adding a customized version of the file to the theme folder (I’ve done it loads of time on other sites – but not kadence-themed sites). No need to add to the functions.php file in an instance like this. So I’ve set up the file as I described above, and it’s not working. I’m wondering if the Virtue theme does not allow for this kind of woocommerce overrride (some custom themes don’t allow it).

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Left and right align content to slider width
Sorry, I’m a bit confused. Just to be sure I’m understanding correctly, you want all of your page’s content to line up with the slider?
As I’m currently seeing it, the content is getting less and less wide as I go down the page. Can you confirm that this is NOT what you want?
Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I want to be sure I have it cleared up before I start making changes.
Thanks!,

Hey,
Try using this css:
@media (min-width: 992px) {
.topclass {
margin: 0 auto;
width: 940px;
}
}This works well but I have a problem when I want to set the background color of the top bar,
it is greater to see this web page http://aucouleur-ayurveda.fr/
How can I do? thank youIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Google Map without scrolling
One option that would be relatively simple would be to use the built in map within the contact page template. It defaults to not have the scroll-zoom effect of the default google map.
You can assign that page a contact template in the page edit screen under page attributes. You’ll configure it in the same place.
Or, if you really want to use that I frame, I would read through this to see if it applies to you.

In forum: Virtue ThemeThanks for all your help so far..
My next problem.. on karmatest.co.uk when you view the site on desktop the logo overhangs the slider on the left hand side and the three orange boxes, or indeed the boxes below either sit slightly to the left of slightly to the right of the page margin. I am trying to set up the website so that the slider edges are the edge of the content and all other content meets those guidelines. SO for example the logo will be left aligned vertically with the left of the slider image, the leftmost box will be left aligned with the slider image, the right box will be right aligned to the right of the slider image and the text will be justified between the left and right edge of the slider image. At the moment I seem to have a number of differences and can’t seem to figure them out. FYI the three boxes have been implemented using a virtue column shortcode (3 columns of span 4)
I know I am just being dumb but any help would be appreciated.
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: gravity forms radio buttons
Hey Guys. Amazing theme.
I’ve been having some problems with gravity forms radio buttons getting sawed off on the side. It looked okay with Safari and then was messed up on Chrome. I tried some CSS and am still having problems. Here’s the site. I have the form on both the homepage and as a widget on most of the service pages. Appreciate the help! -J

Thanks for the info; however, I have set the Post Excerpt Length to 60 words and it doesn’t seem to be taking. I do understand about title length and word count… I would like to know where to set the min height.
Also, does it make a difference if you set the custom word count — meaning if I use the custom excerpt on the post page, will that override the Post Excerpt Length of 60 words?
