Ok, i see that. But there’s no place to set the details like b background color, hover style, centering text, etc.

does it automatically appear on the home page? IF so, how do i position/move it?

I’m trying to figure out how I build the home image menu shown on demo style 1 home page, and it’s getting confusing.

You’re saying:

1. I have to set each post page separately, I cannot use css as Hannah was starting to suggest above?

And can you address my menu/logo color on these pages, from the question above your most recent reply?

Is there a way to make the link in each testimonial post actually appear on the full testimonial grid.
I’m not keen on adding extra click depth so would rather have the testimonials all appear on one page.

As it happens I’m not actually using it for testimonials per se but rather links to news articles (external sites) from a single grid/page (but managed as single items one each like posts).
I can’t see an easier way to do this without additional plugins.

Basically my client doesn’t want to write their own ‘news from/by us’ but rather ‘us in the news’.
I’m surprised more corporate people don’t want this 🙂

Hey,
What page do you have anchor links that you were using that plugin for? The theme has an option to add a smooth scroll by activating a little js. I can help with that if you tell me what page your settings these links on.

You can add images to the image menu on the homepage from Theme Options > Home Layout > Home Image Menu.

I’m still fighting with Highslide JS in Virtue. Here is a test page with a single image (without gallery function):

Here it works good. The image shows: the heading (IC1396 – captured from alt attribute)
overlay caption ( Telescope:….. + additional link – captured from alt.text )

I tried to build a gallery with 4 columns manually. The problem is: arranging the images causes damages

Is this style possible with virtue-gallery or wordpress-gallery (4 or 5 columns)?

It is pausing every so slightly, as seen in the link I shared above.

What I realized is that this is a HEADER gallery.

I want it to behave exactly the same, except:

1) not as a header…. I want a different header above!
2) with links to project pages that include text descriptions of each one.

Does that make sense? Thanks.

Virtue/THeme Options/Home layout lets you enable the image menu. But where do i build/populate the image menu? The only directions i saw were to add a row in page builder and add image menu widgets to it…not the same is it?

for the video you would need to set them all manually.

If you want all your posts to have the same image make that one the default and manually set the image for your blog page. But if your wanting all the posts different then you would set that in the post pages.

Also, I’m realizing I’d need my menu and logo (once I put it up) to be a different color on these pages. Probably white.

Otherwise they won’t show up against this image.

I’m not sure what you mean? I see the home page with ssl? are you making sure your site redirects to ssl? Is your site url set to have https in your wordpress settings?

You can use css to change the page title background for all your blog posts. What image do you want? Can you post a link?
