Hello,

The default template page has a sidebar. How do you make the default page to be fullwidth? I know you can create a page and change the template, but in my case i cannot. I have installed the DW Q&A plugin and it generates a page that has the side bar, it needs to be full width.

I’m having a problem with page width on the home page. The other pages layout fine, but whichever page is defined as the home pags (I’ve tried several) will suddenly have its text extend a couple inches further right and that breaks the layout. I have no idea what’s causing it. I’ve experimented with some custom css:

.container {
width: 960px;
}

but that doesn’t help, so at present there’s no custom css at work on the site.

I’m having a problem with page width on the home page. The other pages layout fine, but whichever page is defined as the home pags (I’ve tried several) will suddenly have its text extend a couple inches further right and that breaks the layout. I have no idea what’s causing it. I’ve experimented with some custom css:

I can’t manage to reproduce this page on the exemple theme : *Login to see link
with different colored parts in full width…
Sorry, I’m new on WordPress, maybe it’s very easy.
But when I want do to do the same, I have my background color on both sides and a sort of border… I can’t put a background color in full width and just on a paragraph.

1. Those fonts are controlled in Theme Options> Typography Settings> H3.

2. Would it be possible for you to post a link to your page so I can see this behavior?

Here is some CSS that will target only the captions on that page:

.chickens .kad-wp-gallery .kad_caption {
  opacity: 1;
}

Let me know if that works for you. be sure you’re placing into Theme Options> Advanced Settings.

No you have to zip the folder so it’s a file.

The shop page is built with woocommerce. You can’t use something like pagebuilder on the shop page. So are you using a shortcode to add an image menu?

Can you post a link to the post where you want this to happen?

Do not add css into pagebuilder that isn’t how pagebuilders css box works, its only for adding css to that specific widget container div. Nothing inside it. Use the theme options for css.

Hello, I am using a standard virtue gallery in one of my blog posts and right now it only shows the captions on hover. I would like to either have it be always on or find a way to display the captions underneath the images. I do not want this change site wide, as I have other pages/posts with galleries that should remain how they are. Just want to have it on this one blog post.

Is this possible? I tried pasting a code I found in these forums:

.kad_caption {
opacity: 1;
}

Didn’t work. I put this in the site builder for my virtue gallery in the “CSS Styles” box. Maybe that was wrong?

1. In Appearance> menus, you can make custom links that you can configure to be labeled anything you want. And yeah, the # sign will be placed in the URL location. You can combine custom links with regular ones in any given menu.

2. Remove the www. and copy the url directly from the browser window when it’s open on that page. I believe that’s your issue.

I just placed a test order and the functionality seems to have returned. I was able to place an order on your site, and I was able to change the location from Heidelberg.

I did notice a few errors on your page that I believe have to do with that plugin, but it seems to be working for me.

I went to Theme Options > Logo Options and changed both of the “Pinnacle” logos there to 1x and 2x versions, respectively, of my own logo. Despite looking everywhere I could for how to change this, the “Pinnacle” logo still appears boldly at the top-left of every page, and my logo appears only when scrolling down the page (on both desktop and mobile site).

This is the case on the home and every page throughout the site.

How do I remove the “Pinnacle” stationary logo for good throughout the entire site and in the top-left of all pages so that my logo appears accurately in its place?

Hi team!

I’ve been struggling with setting up a split content widget in page builder on a page and making it look a certain way.

Ultimately what I’d like to see in the text area next to the image of the split content on the live page, is:
– 48px customized icon
– large font title
– normal reading size text
– button with link
>> everything centered

My questions:

1) How can I get the way the text area is set up in this example of wide split content? There is no way to select an icon in the split content widget as far as I see.. The only way I see to get the icon there, is to put an [icon box] shortcode in the text area of the split content widget, which I did. I left the title blank in the split content widget because I wanted the icon to be above the title, like in your example page.
But then you have to add a title below the icon, and how to enlarge or make bold the fonts? The text area in the split content widget doesn’t allow formatting.

2) how can I select my png icon file to show intead of the built in icons? where do I upload it?

3) How can I get the button to align center? The default is to align left. I tried adding a separate button in the split content text area, and so leaving the built in fields for a text button empty, and adding ‘align=center’but that didn’t have any effect.

What am I missing?
Is there a better way to get what I want than through using the split content widget..?

Back to building sites again!
I have made a header with XHeaderPro to the size of my home page – 972 x 86
I can change this sizing – but when I import the header into the theme options I finish up with 2 titles in the header. (see as on site now) new site.
When I remove the site title from the general settings the size of the header height drops to about half.
Can you tell me where I am making a boo boo please?
