I’m having an issue with the theme’s API key on one of my sites, kinkelaar.com. After adding the key to my site, it shows on my Kadence account page as being active (along with 2 other websites on which I have added the key). However, on my website dashboard, it continues to give me the alert “The theme update API License Key has not been activated!…” I’ve tried logging out and back in a few times and still get the alert. Any suggestions?

Hi.

I am having problems with a page which uses the staff grid. I have set it up as two columns and it views fine on my iPad but only shows with the staff listings in one column via my computer’s web browser (safari). Any ideas to it to view in two columns on my computer too would be appreciated. Thanks Phil

HI Guys!

Just as relates to the blog page styling and template :
I want to use pagebuilder to style the blog page, and sofar have not gotten it to work.

So if I set up a page called Blogs, and use pagebuilder, how do I get the blog posts to show up there?

Meaning, do I change the settings to show the blog posts on that page? Then it gets fed into the loop?

Sorry, it’s a major hole in my knowledge

SAME FOR WOOCOMMERCE STUFF< can I use pagebuilder for product pages, etc? what do you recommend. I’m not sure you can yet.

It’s a little hard to show this issue with a screenshot, as of course the issue is the slider is too long, hence it extends below the bottom of the screen/screenshot. However you can see that the element which is both vertically and horizontally centered in the slider is not centered on the screen.

The element appears too low on the screen because the slider is longer than it should be on mobiles. If you move the page slowly down with your finger you’ll see the slider keeps going instead of being full screen. The slider should go to the bottom of the screen and no further, not extend below it. This is only the case on mobiles and have only happened after we added some CSS for some other issues (in this thread), although I don’t know what CSS caused it. The sliders are correct length on desktops/laptops (except the Home Slider – see below).

As you can tell, the Home Slider is 15px too short on desktops/laptops. It’s set as “Full Screen” in its settings. All other sliders are correctly sized on desktops/laptops. It”s just the Home Slider that’s the issue. (Please note this is separate from issue 1. So ALL sliders are too long on mobiles. And all sliders – EXCEPT the Home Slider – are correct on desktop/laptops)

However, the Blog – Posts Page automatically generated with the available categories ((i.e., Blog Posts, News, Places, Reflections, Websites & Links)on my domain but not my subdomain. I’m sure I did something wrong, but not sure what. Can you guide me to get the Blog – Post Page on the subdomain? Thanks.

OH, In addition, the featured image set in each post doesn’t show anywhere on the front end. How can I fix this?

I compared homepage source file without and with cache, and seems that with cache many styling code lines as well as javascript lines are missing…

1. The importer is a great tool if you are just starting out. However, it will replace all your existing settings so if you already have en established site then it may not be best. Although all your products/pages/posts do not get replaced.

Your image is very large. It takes up the entire height of the page. You would either need to increase the padding of the row, or scale your image smaller.

I fixed the space from Page builder settings and gave -5 as default.

BUt I can’t seem to find the solution for the overlapping footer and content.

Thanks for the quick response, sorry for the delay

I bascially just want a one liner, if you take a look at my site:

The footer is coming up over top of my menu on the left and I am hoping to get it to stop below
and to have everything on one line, if possible. Just a facebook/youtube like buttons with
the copyright on the right. I don’t really need the copyright and can leave that out if necessary

Maybe I should try the copyright footer text as you list here and add my facebook/youTube links
as their own widget at the bottom of the page but not actually part of the footer. Do you think
that would be a good idea ?

Whenever you adjust the quantity of the items in the cart by using the + or – and press update cart after the page refreshes the Cart Totals area of the page disappears. To get it back you have to press the page reload button on the browser. This happens on desktop and on mobile. I have not tried to rollback Woocommerce or the Virtue Theme version. I have disabled other plugins to see if they cause the problem but no solution so far. I will post a link to the website shortly.

Hi, I cannot get rid of the tagline on my home page. I have checked the following:
1. WordPress/Settings/General – no tagline showing there
2. Customise/Main Settings/Site Identity – no tagline showing there
3. Customise/Main Settings/Site Tagline – I keep taking the tagline out of here but cant save it ie the button at the top does not show Save and Publish, it shows Saved. Even if I change something else within this section, take out the tagline then press Save and Publish (which becomes visible when I change something else) the tagline remains and when I go back into Main Settings/Site Tagline the tagline copy is showing again.
