Hi Guy,
1. You can turn off the theme lightbox in Theme Options > Misc Settings.
2. In Theme Options > Blog Options you can set the number of columns to display on category pages. And for your blog pages you can select the number of columns from within the blog edit page. You can set the Blog pages show at most from Settings > Reading.
3. There aren’t necessarily set plugins we recommend. What you’re looking for with plugins is recent updates and good reviews. Let us know if you have questions about a specific plugin.
Hope that’s helpful!
Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Logo is not showing
Can anyone tell me why my logo is not appearing on my home page. I have adjusted the size to 275×100 I really don’t want such a small logo but I will accept if I have too. thanks for your reply. http://www.justformecandlesandsoaps.com
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi all,
I’m configuring my site to use Virtue Premium, and have some questions:1. I am using nextgen galleries, and when I click an image thumb on a gallery both theme lightbox and nextgen lightbox are opened one onm top of the other.
Disabling nextgen lightbox does not help because theme lightbox does not support moving between the photos.2. Can I arrange the main “blog” page in 2 or 3 columns and display all posts?
Same for category specific blog page?3. What are recommended plugins that work well with virtue premium for:
a. Related posts
b. Displaying AdSense ads
c. Facebook Like button
d. Share to social media
e. Facebook feed for widget
f. PHPLIST subscribe formMany thanks!
GuyIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi guys,
Since some days ago, when I try to save a setting from “theme options”, I receive this popup error.
If I remember well, maybe this happened when I tried to import demo settings. The page became blank and nothing happened. As I thought that something went wrong I reinstalled wordpress from scratch, but the issue persists
could you please give me a hand?
Thanks
regards
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: more templates
Hey James,
So there’s already a landing page template within the theme ( http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/templates/landing-page-template/ ).
However, it also hides the footer. If you want to keep the footer you can either add copyright text to a text widget at the bottom of your page, or you can use a default page template and use css to remove the header. Like this:.headerclass { display: none; }You would just add the page id to make it page specific.
Hope that helps!Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: more templates
HI Ben and Hannah
I need to create a template for virtue premium that has no header so I can create a landing page. But still use pagebuilder for it.
Footer just want to show the copyright and sitename.I need to learn how to do templates, on the list of things to do, right now I have to cut to the chase.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
I am having a few issues with the layout of pages when using Woocommerce shortcodes – but seemingly just with Apple/Safari.
This page in particular – go to this link to bypass the coming soon screen, then go to the “Activewear” button (bottom right). You will see there are three Woocommerce shortcodes used on this Activewear page and they all overlap each other. It looks great on Chrome, IE & Firefox.
Could you please let me know how to fix? Thanks
In forum: Virtue ThemeIssue: No ‘On Sale Items’ or ‘Featured Products’ showing on Home page. Homepage Layout Manager has them both ENABLED. Only the Title (i.e “On Sale!) shows on home page. No products show.
1. I have products with sales (sale items). yes
2. Home On Sale Product Settings and Featured Product Settings in Theme Options are set correctly.
3. No CacheHow to fix ? what am I missing.

July 11, 2016 at 3:03 pm #103015That is a filter not navigation not something you can put on the portfolio post. But you can add a menu that links to pages and portfolio types in your secondary menu.

July 11, 2016 at 2:22 pm #103013“navigation on the Portfolio Page” – are you talking about the filter? That isn’t really navigation and it’s not something you can move to other pages.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeJuly 11, 2016 at 2:14 pm #103010Hey,
1. Please post a link to your site. If you make changes inside the theme options and your not seeing those changes then something is wrong. It’s very possible you just have a caching plugin installed that you need to clear.2. You mention the name? The demo content uses a logo image not the site name. If your wanting to show the site name and not an image then you need to remove the logo image files from being selected in your theme options.
3. You mention a tagline… there is no tagline option in this theme? so… Makes me think you are talking about the home slider? If you are using the defualt revolution slider then you need to either create your own or go into the revolution slider area and edit the slider, it’s images and text.
4. “Specifically: how do I replace the peach-colored mountain pic/blue-colored mountain pic/bear-face pic with (3) of my own?”
OK yeah that is your home slider. You set which slider you want to use in the theme options > home slider.
Sounds like you have it set to the revolution slider and you need to go to the revolution slider settings and edit it.
5. “How do I get my website name/tagline/action button word over these images instead of “Pinnacle/Premium/Browse”?”
Again that is the home slider. Go to slider revolution in your admin or create your own slider.6. It sounds like your just missing that theme options > home slider area and that you control the top of your home page with that.
The rest of the demo home page is set in the page itself. pages > home.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Portfolio 404 Errors
Judging by the fact that this takes you to a non-existent page, I would say that leaving the link as it was before is the optimal way to go about this.
Regardless of what google says, you really should have a link that takes you to the desired page, not a 404 page.
I don’t have much more to add beyond that, but I would just switch it back until Ben or Hannah can give us some insight on this.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: New website accounts having problems with password
I was able to create a test order on your site and used a very weak password. I was still allowed to proceed to the Paypal page, so I don’t know what is happening here. There may be another issue happening here, as my password had no caps, no symbols, no numbers, and was only 4 digits.
Did your customers give anymore details about what happened after they input the password?
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Portfolio 404 Errors
Google is reporting a great deal of Soft 404 errors from my site that seem to be coming from my portfolio pages. Essentially for some reason google is getting told the External website links I am putting on the page should also be added to an additional url. For example
http://www.grayscale-productions.co.uk/portfolio/dim-t-dim-sum/ is the page and it has a visible link to http://www.dimt.co.uk but google then thinks there should be a link called
*Login to see linkI dont think this is a a portfolio page problem directly but perhaps something like my schema is messing with it or something?
