In Settings > Page Builder > Layout you can set the row margin and the row gutter.

That helped me to adjust the padding between the two menu boxes, thanks.

But if I make 2 rows in the page builder, there is still a small gap.

In the layout tab of the row have you set the row layout to fullwidth stretched?

I tried it, but without changes, the background color of the lower widget overlaps the over one (see picture in last post)

.home .container {
    width: 100%;
}

It is still not full width, I can see the backgroundcolor of the homepage on the left and right (see the picture in the last post)

Hi Igor,

As for making your homepage fullwidth, use this css instead:

.home .container {
    width: 100%;
}

Just paste it into your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.

Hey Sebastian,
In Theme Options > Blog Options set Category Display Type to Grid Post then you can set the number of columns beneath that. Then in Settings > Reading set the Blog pages show at most to a high number.

I don’t believe that there are any menu options that will allow you to do this. This is something that you’d have to use a child theme to accomplish. All of the settings that I’m aware of regarding the category page are found in Theme Options> Blog Settings at the very bottom of the page.

Hi Kavein, thank you for your answer.
The link is great, but it is not quite my problem.
I have 1 row with two widgets. They both have a different background collor. If I do full width, look at the image. I also can not do a full width home page although I used this css:

.container {
    width: 100%;
    max-width:1400px;
}

The layout tab is not working for the image menu, I just want to have the usual settings like in other websites, which I did. There was a seperation between them.

For the padding of your image menu items, you can set that via the “Layout” tab within the widget itself.

If that doesn’t work, post a link and I can probably find you a CSS solution.

I am having the same problem.
After updating my Virtue Premium I get the red flag message “The theme update API License Key has not been activated! Click here to activate the license api key.” However, when I click and login into my Kadence account page there is nothing.
Please help.

Hello,

I would like all posts from a category to be shown on a archive page with 4 columns.
Right now only 10 thumbnail post links are shown, and the other ones are on page 2.
I would like to have them all on one page, so you just have to scroll down to see them all.

Hi Ben!

Thank your for the additional info. I had already read and tried most of it before writing my question, and since your email above, I also looked at the other info you kindly sent as well. I followed the instructions, and yet nothing changed.

Overall question: how to I –override– the Pinnacle Premium Demo Content, and –replace– it all with my own images, name, tagline, etc. (while keeping the nice general outline/flow/format of the Demo)? I followed the instructions, and yet nothing on the site changed…despite making changes in WordPress, all on the site remains identical to the Demo. (Am I correct in assuming this this possible to override/replace the demo pics & text? Was it a mistake to import the demo content?)

Specifically: how do I replace the peach-colored mountain pic/blue-colored mountain pic/bear-face pic with (3) of my own? I notice that in the pages > home page section, the top portion of the home page is not there, but rather starts with the “Winter Clothing Specials,” etc., block of four images & links–where is it located so that I can replace the very first/main text & images that the viewer first sees on the page (i.e. mountain pics & bear-face pic, with text)?

How do I get my website name/tagline/action button word over these images instead of “Pinnacle/Premium/Browse”?

I’d ideally like to get all the work done of getting the site set up correctly before setting it to its actual domain name, so I’m running it on a temporary url until then.

Big question: is there a “key” or a “map” with the “pages > home” format of step by step instructions for this theme so that I can replace my own content and get the website up and running smoothly asap?

It’s not a site wide style option I’m trying to change. I’m just trying to add a custom colour to the font colour options in the editor, that won’t disappear after I save or load the page/post again.

When you click Text Colour in the Editor, there is a selection of colors, and then the ‘custom’ option. Choosing that will bring up the ability to type a # code. You type the hash code, then that color is selectable every time you choose a colour. Until you save or reload the page. then it’s gone.

I’m wondering if there is a n option/CSS to make a particular colour always be available in the custom colour chooser?

No worries if not. Just thought I’d ask just in case.

Ben,
I have it set up that way and do navigate through the portfolio type. I want to be able to see the menu of types like I do on the Portfolio page on the Portfolio posts. On the Portfolio posts, I want the navigation to show the different Portfolio types like you do on the page.

I can set the navigation set up as a secondary menu but didn’t know how to display that secondary menu on the portfolio posts page. Thanks.

– How could hide “attribut 2” as long as “attribut 1” as no sélection variations ? ( Sort of “attribut 1” is the parent of the child “attribut 2. )
– And is it possible that “variation’s attribut 1” displays the “attribut 3” instead of “attribut 2”
