In reply to: Error when adding Cloud library credentials.
August 5, 2022 at 11:57 am #276372Thank you, Yolande! I put the URL, like your example, in a Page Rule with the “Disable Security” set and it didn’t work. The strange thing is that it was working earlier this year with a similar approach at Cloudflare. They must have done something to enhance security. Oh well. — Carl

August 5, 2022 at 12:56 am #275859Carl Davaz,
It is under page rules. However, I have moved all my Kadence Cloud websites away from Cloudflare since it was causing so many issues.
In forum: Kadence ThemeAlso, another possible solution: If I add the slider shortcode into my header.php this actually works, but I was not able to deactivate it in the header on other pages. (And I don’t want this slider on all my pages)
Maybe you have a solution for that? How can I deactivate custom headers with shortcodes on specific pages?Thank you in advance!
In forum: Kadence ThemeHi!
First of all: I love the Kadence theme. It’s simply the best I found after lengthy research.
I’m currently building a SUPER lightweight website with it that gets a google pagespeed of 100.But I ran into a problem and need your help: I want to use “latest” posts displayed on my home page together with a custom hero image + Headline.
But when I edit the Homepage Settings and under “Your homepage displays” I selected “Your latest posts” I can’t edit it.See: *Login to see link tware/
So I changed it to “A static page” and there I was able to do what I want. But now the problem is that the native grey website background disappeared and everything is drowning in white colour. This makes the Post boxes disappear because everything is “content” and inherits the Content Background colour instead of the Site Background colour.
See: *Login to see link tware/project-management-software/
So either I need to be able to put some shortcode for a slider into “Your latest posts”-Home option, or I’m able to delete the content background colour around everything but the post boxes on a single page.
Thank you so much for your help!
In forum: Kadence ThemeAugust 4, 2022 at 11:55 am #275437Hi everyone,
I’ve found an odd behavior, when using a probably rare combination of blocks / shortcodes: When you use a Kadence Gallery inside a modal and click on a single image, the page scrolls to the top after closing the single image-view. In our case and probably the most uses this isn’t desired. So, is there a way to disable this behavior or can this be fixed in an upcoming version?
An example of this can be seen on our minimal development environment: *Login to see link .
Many thanks and kind regards

August 4, 2022 at 10:52 am #275436Hi Chito
No, because the settings are set precisely to what you want me to set them.
I believe you didn’t check It, as you would notice that it is indeed set to transparent.
That is why I gave my site access last week – without success. Can you ALSO check the fact that the Logo isn’t showing? Karla added the Logo, BUT it appeared on the black bar with the background not transparent. So please, I’ve removed the Logo again as it looked terrible. So when You check, and it is not correct, please don’t leave it on the site as before you get back to me, I might get visitors who might though I like it that way.
I’ve asked explicitly if Bonn, Kevin or Hannah can assist me.
And please read what I’ve said about Bonn or Kevin helping me before with the Top bar and adding CSS coding.
1. First problem – the Top bar (background) was black – I’ve changed it to transparent now because the Main bar’s background is Black, and I can’t get it fixed to translucent
2. Secondly, I want to add the Logo back as it was before on the Main Menu Bar on the left. LIKE ON THE IMAGE I”VE PASTED. But I don’t think you’ve checked.
3. Check the CSS code as I’ve asked because I’m sure that is why my settings are not working. As I’ve mentioned, the booboo happened when a) I removed my Home page Main image (which was previously a Kadence ascend Template) – with, I think, a slider.
And secondly, b) I wanted to replace the Logo (both logos were made with Canva (transparent backgrounds).
Therefore, the background is not supposed to show).
I guess you know that as you know much more than me. So PLEASE, can someone assist me in fixing these 3 issues? Tomorrow it is a week later.Below is how I want my Headings to look! Home and posts (and I can change the settings until I’m blue; it is not working).

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Kadence Sidebar… Hide TOC for Archive pages?
Hi Greg,
Thanks for reaching out.
There are 2 ways to do this, the easiest one is adding this custom CSS:
body:not(.single-post) .sidebar-inner-wrap #block-86 { display: none; }The other one is setting a different sidebar on archive pages in Customizer: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Wnu7gEbe
You can duplicate sidebar 1 to sidebar 2 by highlighting the widgets, then press
CTRL + CorCMD + C.Then go to Sidebar 2, add a Paragraph block, then press
CTRL + VorCMD + VHere’s a video for your reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOuXZmno
Hope this helps.

BonnIn forum: Ascend ThemeAugust 3, 2022 at 5:49 pm #275120Hey team, is it possible for Bonn, Kevin or Hannah to assist me here, please?
The background of my Main menu heading changed from translucent to pitch black.
This happened after I tried to replace my Logo and Image on the Home page. I obviously did something wrong (settings) and cannot get it fixed.
I’ve asked Karla, but she didn’t say anything about the black header and added the Logo –
However, I removed the Logo as it looked terrible! So the translucent background wasn’t translucent on the black menu bar?1. The background of the top bar was black, and the translucent one is now black.
A while back, Bonn helped me to add a top bar, and everything was fine. I would appreciate it if Bonn, Kevin or Hannah could assist me here.
I know nothing about CSS. I am the only person working on my site. I’m worried that the more I try to fix it, the more problems I cause.
The uploaded image is how it looked.
I will add you as a user without a passwordThanks
In forum: Kadence ThemeHi there!
Just found the wonderful ability to put a TOC in the sidebar and to make it sticky when scrolling down the page. This is so helpful, and it works awesome on posts, but not so much on an archive page. On an archive page, the TOC shows the headers for the previous post… so that makes it a little confusing for my readers.
Is there a way to hide the TOC just for archive pages?
Or, if I have to, is there a way to duplicate sidebar 1 to sidebar 2 so I don’t have to recreate the whole thing?
Thanks for your help on this!
Greg
*Login to see linkIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Can’t remove “Underline” for links
Hi again,
I just spoke with the dev team and here’s what I found out… “Content link style” only applies to page and post content, which is a specific area of the page. It doesn’t apply to the entire site as that could break things with other plugins and change how stuff generally works. Especially for some of the options in that dropdown. So if they are creating a custom dropdown with links they need to override the default browser behavior (which is to underline links). Does that make sense? The developer is going to make a note to add a style option into the icon list block. In the meantime you can override with this css:.menu-item-type-custom a { text-decoration: none; }Hope that’s helpful!

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: No support for images title?
Hi there,
This is not a Kadence issue, it is just how Gutenberg works.
Gutenberg does not output title tags on images.
You can read more about it on the thread here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/title-attributes-on-images-importance-and-taking-off-page-builders/
Hope this helps.
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Can’t remove “Underline” for links
Hi Nikola,
Thank you for reaching out to us and for sending the screenshots.
Based on the screenshot that you sent, you used the icon list and perhaps, link it to the webpages to create a menu navigation. Is this correct? If so, this is a normal behavior, especially if the link style is set to have “Standard (underlined). Here, please watch: https://share.getcloudapp.com/BluG66nd
As you can see, when I changed the link style from Customize > Colors > Content Links > Link Style and changed it to No Underline, the underline on the element was removed. Can you please try it on your end and let us know if this resolves the issue?
Cheers,
DaneIn forum: Ascend ThemeI’m using the Ascend Gallery widget with the Slider option which is perfect for what I’m trying to do with one exception; I can’t control the decay or fade time. Is it possible to achieve this with some custom CSS?
The page I have set up is HERE.
A fade time of something like 1500-2000 milliseconds would probably work well.
While we’re at it, is there a way to remove the arrows on either side of the slideshow? I got rid of the dots and thought I had the correct CSS to remove the arrows, but it’s not working.
As always, thanks much!
In forum: Kadence ThemeHello Hannah how are you.
Thanks for your reply. Post Grid/Carousel block sounds good for displaying the actual posts – but I was wanting to fetch and show the 6 CPT categories (3 per row) – archive title and featured image (that is then clickable through to the releveant category posts pages)
Best to do that manually, then use the Post Grid/Carousel block on the relevant pages?

In forum: Kadence ThemeTopic: Help with the code
August 1, 2022 at 12:09 pm #274399Hello,
I added live chat to my website called Tidio. Chat has a widget that is added through Tidio plugin. I got a bug with widget look, a strange white background appeared that is not supposed to exist. I contacted their support, and they confirmed the bug. Their developers checked the issue, and I got this answer from them.
“Hi!
Thank you for reaching out to Tidio Support.
My name is Kamil and I’ll gladly help you with your inquiry 🙂I understand that there’s an issue with how the widget is rendered on your site – and after short troubleshooting, I found the culprit.
There’s a code that changes the colour scheme, which changes how the Tidio widget is rendered. That causes the issue with the light theme on your page.
(devs image attached)
The second code that casues issue with dark theme is the one I’m showing below
(devs image attached)
If you’d add the :not(#tidio-chat-iframe) to both of the codes – so Tidio won’t be affected by the code, the problem should be gone.
Please let me know how it goes!”
My problem is that I do not know how to do this, I am not a coder. Can you help me please?
