June 3, 2016 at 10:16 am #97481Ok, got in
Seems you were setting a custom menu different from other pages for the home page? Either way looks like you figured out how to add product categories and as soon as I turned off the custom menu setting everything seems to be doing what you want.Ben

The only thing I’m using inline is the attributes for page builder images. Each image has a “widget styles” section and an “attributes” subsection that allows you to enter css pertaining to the image. In that section, I’m using the following code on the mobile image:
.mobile-only {
display:block!important;}
.desktop-only {
display:none !important;
}And there’s a desktop image with css to display on desktop.

June 3, 2016 at 9:12 am #97474Hey,
Yes I know your using pagebuilder… That still doesn’t tell me what you are using inline that is running a script for mobile browsers and hiding items based on the browser. I wonder can you send me a temp login to your site?Ben

Sorry, just had a stupid moment. The shortcode above will display a grid of your staff posts, but we’re talking testimonials not staff so ignore that. Although if you wanted to add your testimonials as staff posts that would work! Otherwise I’m not sure of a way to do this without using page builder.

I see your photo showing, it’s just really small. Are you wanting it this small? Or do you want it to spread across the top page like here- http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/templates/feature/
If you want that, then I suggest using the feature page template and using a larger image. Then you can add your blog posts via shortcode like this:[blog_grid orderby=date items=4 columns=2]
Hope that’s helpful!Hannah

Hi Nelia,
i love your work !
As i was browsing through the pieces i noticed just a few loading small and only at the first view. As i viewed them a second time they showed big.
Some of them didn’t load any image at all, only after a few reloads of the page.I’m just guessing until real support is here later today… i would say the server is slow, i also don’t know how big your images are.
What plugins are you using, other then what came with the theme ?Kind regards,

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Multi cat in blog page
Dear support,
Is it possible to selectively show 2-3 catageries in a blog page? Suppose that I have posts linked to cat A, B and C but I want to show only posts related to category A and B within the same page, how would you do that? I tried to use the shortcode [blog_posts orderby=date items=4 word_count=30 cat=A,B] but it ended showing only A.
Thanks
Fabrizio

1. It is just that the color is blending in with the background. You can change the color by re-setting your primary color in Theme Options > Basic Styling.
2. Which boxes? Is this in the backend?
3. Add this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:
div.product .product_thumbnails { text-align: left; }4. Not sure what you mean. Are you wanting it to show on a new page? Could you link to an example?

Hey Ian,
You can do this by creating a page using a default template and use page builder to add a row with a virtue testimonial carousel widget. Then under that add a visual editor widget and add a testimonial form shortcode (from the virtue shortcodes tab in the visual editor). Does this work for you?Hannah

When I click on the product, the image is small. When I reload the page, it enlarges. How do I get the picture to load large?
You can see an example here: *Login to see link
Also, when I click on the arrows to scroll through the products, the images/products go in the opposite order. Forward takes me to the end and back takes me to the next.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Comments Section Missing
Ben, here’s what I’m seeing. We have one post on the Home screen. When I view the post on the Home screen, there is no comments box. When I view it from the Post Page that I created, I can see the comments box. Is there somewhere I need to check a setting in order to have it appear on the Home screen?
In forum: Virtue ThemeIf you open a tab with the homepage and go back and forth between the upload link you just gave and that tab, you can easily see that the site compresses is slightly. It’s smaller too, but only by a little . Does this mean I need to take the dimensions down a few pixels to compensate?
