    Hey,
    if you use the “page-builder” template than that will remove the padding around your item and make it the page width of 1170. If you want it full screen then you just need to click on the “edit row” and make the row fullwidth stretched.

    See here: https://www.kadencewp.com/using-page-builder-virtue-premium/

    I wasn’t planning on making this page public, but I went ahead and did so for to show you my results. One row in PageBuilder. Obviously not full width. Would like it to be.

    Not sure if I should start a new thread on this question or carry on with a year-old convo.

    I have the same question, but Ben’s final word isn’t working for me. I’m using Pinnacle Premium, I have the page’s Sidebar Display setting set to ‘NO’ and I still don’t get a full width option in the template section of the page. When in PageBuilder, I don’t get any of the full-width options I’d expect. (this site is a mess, btw, but don’t mind that).

    Ok, I ran the importer 20 times and it worked I’ve never worked on a server that slow. Every page load takes a long time. I can only suggest you get better hosting.

    I forgot to add this. here is my page so far..

    http://myfurniture.mydwellingsbydesign.com/gallery/

    i am not sure if i am even doing this right, if you have any recommendations, i am all ears.

    #97570

    Firstly, you’ll have to go into Theme Options> Misc Settings> and create a new sidebar. You’ll probably want to label it “”portfolio” so you remember which one it is.

    You’ll need to create the menu in Appearance> Menus, and once that’s done, go into Appearance> Widgets, and assign a custom menu widget to the sidebar.

    If you are using the main nav on other pages, you will need to use some CSS to hide the main menu on the portfolio page.

    That CSS will look something like this, and you’ll place it onto Theme Options> Advanced Settings.

    .page-template-page-portfolio nav#nav-main {
        display: none;
    }

    Let me know if this helps!

    hello

    i am trying to make a portfolio page for a furniture company, and i like the functionality of the “portfolio” page, but I am wanting to replace the portfolionav with menus on the sidebar..

    so for example, i want to have menus that says

    “by brand” and it will have all of the brands they offer
    “by room” and it will show the rooms the furniture is for … and so forth . i will need about 4 different categories, and each one has about 5-10 different options in it.. that is why i am trying to get rid of the top navigation (its too cluttered with all of the categories)

    is this something i can do ? i already figured out how to make the portfolio page with the sidebar on the side.. now im just trying to figure out how to make the menus do the filtering the portfolionav does..

    thank you in advance for your help..

    I think I see the problem:

    <area alt=”MouseOvercard1″

    should be the full URL?

    http://www.sacreddnakeys.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Fanned-Out-Rollover-Master1.jpg

    Target should be:

    http://www.sacreddnakeys.com/random-card-page/

    ??

    #97560

    The main image should be http://www.sacreddnakeys.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Hires-Fanned-Out-Rollover-Master.jpg

    I’ve replaced all links that were previously “05”, this is the main image for each hotspot mouse out (my fault, got it wrong)

    The mouse over swap image should be from left to right:
    Fanned-Out-Rollover-Master1.jpg (for card one)
    Fanned-Out-Rollover-Master2.jpg (for card two)
    etc.

    Each card should highlight on mouse over

    All these images are in my media library on the site.

    Mouse out, back to:
    http://www.sacreddnakeys.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Hires-Fanned-Out-Rollover-Master.jpg

    Mouseover click on any card should be URL open in new window:
    http://www.sacreddnakeys.com/random-card-page/

    This worked perfectly in most browsers when viewing locally on my computer?

    Hey,
    Since you added manually you would need to edit manually. I would suggest you use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-on-pages/

    That will give you a shortcode that outputs 1 widget area. You can add that throughout your site and it will show the one widget area where you have placed an ad. Then when you want to update you can change that one widget and it will show everywhere that you have placed the shortcode.

    Ben, clear. Thanks

    A couple more questions:
    1) I have asked you to make my prodcuts to be present at the main page. NOw I have too many of them, while I would like to choose which ones I have on the first page, which ones not. So far they come one by one, as I add them to assortment. Is there a way to control which one are displayed, given that we did it not via feature Products, but via shortcode [recent_products per_page=”15″ columns=”5″]?

    2) another question is if I can somehow organize prodcuts in groups (e.g. based on the parent category they belong to) on the main page. Now the products from different product categories are mixed.

    3) Now, If the name of the product is shorter than others, the whole image of the products light box is smaller. that’s why the prodcuts are not aligned into line and dancing. Is there a way to make them stay in lines?

    4) The first raw of products images is just under the additional menu. It does not look good. Is there a way to make at least 1-2 sm of blank fild between the prodcuts images and the additional menu?

    Thanks
    Best regards,
    Alexander

    Hello,

    I have a question concerning ads management with virtue premium theme.

    For example:
    I have a new advertiser and want to publish his ads in all existing posts and/or pages. So I need to replace the existing ads.
    At the moment I insert the ads with page builder -> widget -> text. In this case it would be necessary to change everything manually.

    Is there the possibility to manage the ads centrally (change it once) or do I need a plugin? If yes which one would be the best?
    Or is there a kadence widget which can be used?

    Edit: For sidebar I use the widget, so there the solution is clear. But for the body of pages or posts I am baffled

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks. Actually this would always remain in my intranet .. its kind of an internal reporting thing. Is there anything which I can provide to you ? (my template is set to full width) The only thing on my page is the link [wpdatatableid = 1] … how can i see the class and let you know about it?

    Hello –

    I’m having an issue with new products not displaying the Product Description on the product page. Here is an example:

    Previously created products are not having this issue. For example,

    I did add the following code to functions.php to change how the checkout-page is rendered today

    // Hook in
    add_filter( 'woocommerce_checkout_fields' , 'custom_override_checkout_fields' );

    // Our hooked in function - $fields is passed via the filter!
    function custom_override_checkout_fields( $fields ) {
    $fields['order']['order_comments']['placeholder'] = 'Enter prayer requests here';
    $fields['order']['order_comments']['label'] = 'Prayer Requests';
    return $fields;
    }

    Any idea what the issue might be?

    In your theme options > misc settings. Scroll down to “Limit Max Page to 940px”

    Try turning that on.

    I’m not seeing any widgets?

    You can use the page-builder layout widget to arrange things in columns as well.

    I see that the slider is 940 x 314.933, so I’ll resize the image and set the image size settings to accommodate. I actually like the way the line underneath looks, so I’m keeping the page title enabled. I cleared site and browser cache and added the last css you gave, but the slider is no closer to the little black bar above it. How should I proceed to move the slider up?

    #97506

    So when I look at the page i see that you had not set a correct url for the main image. I added that? Is there something else?

    Ben

    #97497

    Configuring the contact form should work the same no matter what email address you use. On the page that you’re using for contact, you just need to type the correct email address in “Contact Form Email Recipient” under “Contact Page Options.”

    Is this what you mean?

    You would add in a text editor. There is not individual page of code in wordpress. There are templates and they are used for every portfolio post for example. Any page specific stuff you would add into the page content.

    You don’t add schema into the head you add around the content.
