Inserting dreamweaver hotspots code into Virtue page

I’d like to create/modify an image with detailed multiple hotspots and linked url for each hotspot. The image is not a map (as in road map or country map).

I found this on the WP forums:

Keigh said: “I created the image maps with rollovers in Dreamweaver and then copied the code and pasted into the HTML editor on WordPress. I then copied the javascript code (in the header of the Dreamweaver Page (and created by the program) into the TEMPLATE for the page I was using”.

Does anyone know if this will work, and where exactly in the page template must the javascript code go?

Any assistance will be appreciated.
