How can I assign an ID number to a form?

Google G4 analytics does not work as Google Universal did so forms now need an ID in order to track the submit and the referring source. If I just track the Thank you page I can get the submits, but it would lose the referring source – which is essential for marketing.

Your help would be appreciated!

Never mind… I figured it out. Activating StatCounter seems to do this automatically now, although I did have to add project ID and security code in Settings tog get things to work.

I still don’t know how to access a page’s full html code though… in Virtue, all I see are blocks that don’t include the page’s basic infrastructure, or php files via ftp. Of course I cans see the html via Developer in the Chrome browser, but can’t find editing access.

Can you consider adding video support to the Modal block?

or

Modify the functionality of the Video Popup block to be launched from a text link (as well as an image)?

I would like to insert a text-based link to my page that when clicked will launch a help video in a popup.

I cannot use the modal block, because the video will keep playing after the modal has closed.

I cannot use the Video Popup block, because it requires a large image as the button/trigger.

See the attached image, I want to launch a popup containing a video from the text links highlighted in yellow.

I need the video to stop playing when the modal is closed.

thanks for your replay.
Unfortunately, this doesn´t help. I´ve saved and changed Permalink several times.
And if I go to the Standard Theme Twenty Twenty-Two pages and post are found.

Maybe this is the problem but I don´t know where to look at:

Thanks for your reply and for sending the screenshots.

I believe this is the screenshot you’re referring to when you mentioned how it looks at the front-end https://prnt.sc/E5qFE8qKPQ9Z, correct? If so, can you please send the exact URL of the page where the slider is being used so we can inspect further? You have an option to send the URL privately by ticking the “Set as private reply” option on this thread.

Thanks for getting in touch. Currently, there is no option to add simple sharing into the Blog/Archive page itself. You can only add the icons into the excerpt section of each item in the blog archive.

I believe this is because social sharing links usually need some context as to what the post is about, this is derived from the contents of the post/page. Normally, blog archive pages only displays a list of blog posts and does not have a content for itself.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The message, “It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.” means that the page is not found. Is this happening for all of your posts and pages?

Please could you try going to Settings > Permalinks and clicking the Save Changes button there to see if the pages will work again after? Sometimes, you’ll need to do this step so the URL structure will be updated and the new posts/post types will be recognized. It is also to “flush your permalinks”, which is mostly the cause of the issue for “not found” page/post errors.

Hi,

I’m not sure if I am allow to crash into this opened thread, if not I apologise and please direct me..

I think I have the same question as the OP.. and I point the reference to the following web page:

Notice how when the visitor scroll down, only the left side (with the images) scroll down. The right column remain fixed, until a “point” was reached where the entire content block scrolled down.

a. Is there a common name for this effect?
b. Can we achieve this with Kadence Blocks?

I am trying to Add Social Share buttons from the Kadence Social Share plugin to the Blog/archive page. I did not see settings to do this. So I tried making an element and doing it that way but instead of sharing the Blog main page it shares a post from that page.

Any ideas on how I can add the social share buttons to the blog / archive page so it shares that main page?

Only Header and Footer are still working.

With WP 5.9 there was no problem.

If I switch back to Twenty Twenty-Two content is back.

In the Debug Log there is this entry:

But I don´t think that is the reason?

It’s been a while since I’ve done much more than basic updates on two websites using Virtue Premium (which I love, by the way!). I’ve recently dusted off a few cobwebs and created a third website (child theme of Virtue Premium), and would like to add the code provided by the StatCounter plugin (because I already have an account with them), and the code specifically identifies this site). They say it needs to be pasted “into every page (or into the master template) of your website just before the closing </body> tag.”

With the new (to me) block system, I am not seeing a place to do this. I cannot seem to view any page’s full code to edit it or specifically, to get to the closing body tag—just individual rows or blocks. I’m sure I’m missing something basic here.

Can you please direct me to the most efficient way to add this plugin’s code to the entire site, like, a “master template”? Or even onto individual pages one by one? (It’s not a very big site). I can send the provided StatCounter code your way… or… a link to the website if necessary—just let me know.

Most of the contact forms on my site are on a white page, but I recently created a signup form on a transparent overlay. All the form fields (name, company, email) have a white background with placeholder text…except the Select field. The Select field only shows a white background behind the dropdown items but the field itself is transparent. So the form shows all the nice white entry areas to be filled in and a blank gap with a barely noticeable field label. Is this a bug and/or how can I fix it?

Hi, Rolf!

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you and for the wrong screen recording.

The Fixed and Parallax options are still there if ever a user wants to use them. However, I have recommended selecting Scroll for the Tablet and Mobile views for you if you do not want the background images to have the “fixed” effect.

As a comparison of the three background-attachments, you can see the following screen recordings on an actual Safari mobile browser:

• Parallax – https://share.getcloudapp.com/X6uRl2ov

Mobile browsers don’t support fixed/parallax backgrounds the same way that desktop browsers do. For the “fixed” background-attachment, the image fills the entire size of the page unlike on a desktop where it fills the entire size of the screen.

Our parallax option for mobile will create a fixed background to create a “parallax”-like feel but it is also not the exact effect on the desktop views.

The overall aim is to make this a professional blog with two or three authors with awesome info about them.

I have a problem with color switch buttons. Icons don’t show up, just a small square where icons should be. I tried turning on the floating switch, adding switch in header and footer, but it is always the same. Icons do not show.

Can someone help me please?
