Topic: Testimonials throwing page
Hi guys,
I am using pinnacle on a new wesbite: *Login to see link
will send login in a sec via private reply
On the *Login to see link page I have added (well tried to add) the testimonial carousel but when I do it seems to throw the whole page out of whack?
When I remove this widget the page returns to normal.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
I am using the home page widget area, and in that I am using multiple Pinnacle:Recent posts. They are stacking up one on top of the other. I’d love to see them side by side in a table 2 or 3 up if possible. Looking for suggestions on an easy way to do this!Thanks, Glenn

Ok… well that is your issue the entire menu is built with custom links??
You have to use pages, posts, categories items like that if you want to wordpress to “know” when you are on a certain page.
You need to remake the menu now.

Click on the text tab of your page. Make sure you are not pasting content in from somewhere that’s causing the text to add all kinds of code. Can you check make sure there is no code?Ben

I’m using Firefox.

They show up the first round, but on the second round it’s just a sliver. Hover over the image and click the arrow. It’s the third time. I’m not talking about clicking and expanding the video but just clicking the arrows on the page.

The dropdown should automatically function when you enable a static page. Have you created any pages yet?

Thanks for the response – I found it was an issue with the max_allowed_packets setting.
The saving of the theme settings turned out to be a bit of a red herring.
I was also getting page not found on all Woocommerce categories and products.Thanks for taking the time to answer my support request.

I just installed the Virtue theme to my wordpress and am following the introductory videos on setting the Home page as my static instead of latest posts, by going to
Settings > Reading > Front Page Displays > A Static Page (select below)But when I select “a static page” the drop-down menu doesn’t get activated for me to select one of the pages I have created. Is there a setting I need to change on the ‘Home’ page or something?

The portfolio I have right now includes all the posts that I would want the feed to capture. Or you’re saying I need to create a new portfolio page designed for RSS feed and hide in my webpage somewhere? I don’t really understand the link you sent along.

That’s odd, when I simply hit enter/return in the visual editor it will make the space show up on my page.
Have you tried clearing your cache after making the changes to the page to see if that has any effect?
