Does it work when you deactivate page builder? Try deactivating it and viewing your site if you haven’t already. That will be the easiest way to tell if they’re conflicting.

Can you post a link to your site so I can see if it’s something obvious?

I’m using the plugin Simple Share Buttons Plus plugin (www.simplesharebuttons.com/plus/ – the paid version of “Simple Share Buttons Adder”), and having problems getting it to display. It will only display on one page – the only unique thing about that page is that is doesn’t use any page building widgets for content. So I’m wondering if there’s a conflict with the Virtue Premium theme and this plugin? Has anyone else had this problem?

Well, I’m actually trying to disable the child theme, but then these rows of code show up on the main page. The whole site went bananas after wordpress 4.5 so had to disable all plugins to to go through the site. For some reason i can’t reactive the parent theme, version 1.6.4. adress: http://www.kontinent.se

You need to leave the post page blank (settings > reading). Otherwise that will override the blog template.

hello,

Me too wants to remove the links on click in Custom Carousel ( it is linking to the revoltion slider homepage)
Ik used the css.

.home .fredcarousel {
pointer-events: none;
}

I have two problems with this solution

1) the arrows (L/R) are not working anymore
2) On hover, my pictures change from black/white to color. This is not working anymore.

Any solution?

Hey,
1. Looks like you are talking about the product title which is white because of your h1 settings? Are you wanting to remove the product title? Or would you prefer just to make it visible by changing your h1 font color.

2. To move the woocommerce product price below the short description you would have to use a child theme and override woocommerce output hooks. Do you have a child theme installed?

3. You would need to turn off the theme crop for single product pages.. That’s in your theme options > shop settings.

Then in woocommerce settings > products > display. Set the single product image size to 460×460 and turn off hard crop.

Finally rebuild all your images using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

You would need to set up the pages using a page and the portfolio grid template. You can have a page just show on portfolio type.

In the page options you would have the option for height.

I am going to write some blog posts which will include tables and mathematical symbols and equations.

I haven’t seen in Virtue Premium in the page/post editor any feature that I could use for this purpose.

I am not even any HTML/CSS tags etc. that could do it.

Can you please let me know if there is anyway to add mathematical symbols and equations.

Hi,

I did post this on the worpdress forum but I purchased the premium version of Virtue today so thought I would make use of the support here.

My site is LILO DESIGNS and I really want my main menu to span the width of the page – i found code on here to get the sub menu to do this but after trying for the best part of the afternoon to find code or use the inspector to pick the right inspector nothing works. One thing that does work is creating negative margins which then messes up the sub menu. Or changing the container width which messes up everything else!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Ben, We’ve got Yoast on there but as it’s a dev build I’ve probably not updated it yet. I’ve gone for the option of setting it as a different page so I’ll put the redirect in.

Hi Ben,

Sorry for my late answer.
I tried to deactivate all plugins after that reactivated one by one.
Everything work properly before activate Yoast SEO and TinyMCE Widget.
Separately TinyMCE Widget without activated Yoast SEO work fine.
When activated both and gives an error.

Test with both plugins and Virtue 3.6.1, because version 3.5.9 working correctly

Every another page, post, single product, etc. work correctly. The problem is only in product category.

I used:
WordPress version 4.5.1

Hello Ben, well, I tried all those DB repair, but no luck, My hosting told me that it was an theme issue because they tried another theme and no problem,

Then I tried myself another theme and the library works and also the “404” I see on top of frontend and backend pages dissapeared.

I think the theme has a problem. I also deactivated all my plugins but it didnt help.

My Virtue theme version is 3.6.1, I installed by uploading it, and im not sure about the optional/included plugins for the theme (slider, etc), shuld I check or update those plugins?

Please take a look at this page (*Login to see link and let me know if it’s possible to (1) get rid of all that white space up top; (2) Put product name + description and THEN the price (just above quantity), to fit to the right of the picture; and (3) change shape of product photo individually on each product page. (For the latter, I only see the option in Theme Options – Square, portrait, landscape, etc., but I’m wondering what to do if I have digital products (& other) that differ in orientation. (I’m fine with the uniformity on the Shop page.) Ben, I have you in as an admin, so if you want to add the css code yourself, I’m fine with that. Thanks for your help!

Thanks guys, but there is a problem.

Well, the default page in the Settings > Reading is Blog. Then I did what Kevin suggest to use but there are no changes u.u

When I Click on categories it shows the entries like it should ..

Hey,
May have made it so you can click the links but you still have an open p tag.

I would highly suggest you do all the things pagespeed is suggesting. I’ve written an article about all that those are things a theme can’t and shouldn’t control.

Tap target you have two options.
1. would be to make the carousel not have arrows on mobile (then it wouldn’t show on google)
Or 2. you can make the carousel smaller (really smaller) and have the arrows outside the carousel..
I suggest neigher, It works on mobile to have the arrows.. don’t let the page speed tool become more then it should be. It’s only a tool. It’s rating means nothing in terms of how anyone sees your site. Run amazon through and you’ll see what I mean.. you need to focus on the main point and thas load time.
