In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Responsive issues on ipad
I am currently using virtue premium, purchased today so it is currently up to date.
I have changed the settings>page builder> layout to enable responsive layout and the width on mobile (and tablet) is set to 768. Media query in css is also @ 768, with duplicates of the same prompts (“@media only screen and (max-device-width:”) at 480 for mobile.
I can copy and paste the css if seeing that would help.
*note, I’m not having any issue with the theme on mobile devices. On an iphone 6 it is absolutely fine. This issue is mainly occurring on ipad.

You can add a link to a text widget placed under the social icons widget in Appearance> Widgets.
It will just be simple html like this.<a href="#">Terms and policy</a> <a href="#">FAQ’s and Help</a>Just place the url to your page in the quotes where the pound sign is.
Try that and let me know if it works for you!

With pagebuilder simpleshare doesn’t run. You can manually add most sharing options through using the sharing shortcode.Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Responsive issues on ipad
Hello,
Currently I’m having issues with imagery, sliders and menus as they appear on an ipad. I’ve gone to the layout settings and changed all the responsive breaks to 767px, but what’s happening is that though the text and widgets and content of most pages gets reset and collapses properly, the flex style menu that works perfectly and is sized correctly on the mobile phone stacks differently on the ipad. The Slider that is set up for mobile does not get used, rather it defaults to the desktop size. There are prompts on the images in the “Resources page” and “members page” that I put in the css to only display on mobile for one (a diff image than the desktop size) and for the other to display on desktop, but here, despite the mobile setting being reset to 767, the ipad is still pulling up the desktop images and not the mobile sized ones that have specific css to be displayed on mobile.How do I proceed? Any and all help is appreciated.

the solution you mentioned is unfortunately not working:
on click you will jump to the revoltionslider on top of the homepage.
on hover the pictures will changes to color.the css code ( below) makes that on click nothing happens..the arrows don’t work .. and pictures staying B/W
}
.home .fredcarousel {
pointer-events: none;
}Is there an other solution?

Thanks Kevin and Josh.
Yes I am looking to do something like this example.
From Josh.
“Are you looking for something like this?” https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-photography-slider/from Kevin,
I was a little confused here!
“Then, within the page text editor of the page that’s set as Static Home Page in Settings> Reading, I pasted a shortcode like this one.
[portfolio_posts orderby=date columns=4 ratio=square filter=true layoutstyle=flat-no-margin hoverstyle=default items=4 masonry=false lightbox=true showty”I basically when into pages and put the code stated above. I placed in my home page text editor.
Am I also placing my slider link into the editor as well?I did remove the logos and menus. However, it gives a white bar the states no menu is assigned.
Thanks for all your help guys!

MichaelIn forum: Virtue ThemeApril 27, 2016 at 12:20 pm #92794Hello,
Could I deactivate or remove the link which takes me to the index page from the splash page? I mean: imagine that my customer just wants the splash page and the button where says “Visit site” didn’t have a link to index page. Just a link to his email address or wherever he wants.
I don’t know if it’s possible. Could you help me?
Thank you very much, as always.In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Slider Revolution Home Page
Hello!
I was able to do this on my test site by first going into Theme Options> Home Layout> Home Layout Manager, and only activate Page Content.
Then, within the page text editor of the page that’s set as Static Home Page in Settings> Reading, I pasted a shortcode like this one.
[portfolio_posts orderby=date columns=4 ratio=square filter=true layoutstyle=flat-no-margin hoverstyle=default items=4 masonry=false lightbox=true showtypes=true]Your slider will be set via Theme Options> Home Slider, and you can create the slider itself with the button in the slider options.
If you don’t want a logo or menus, then you should remove the logo in your Main Settings area.
And you can disable all of your menus via Appearance> Menus.Let me know if this works for you.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Slider Revolution Home Page
Hi guys,
This is probably a couple clicks in the theme options. But I would like to make the Homepage a full page layout that just has my portfolio of my work and a welcome button without my top menu bar & logo and my footer. I’ve seen some codes like this.
<?php if ( is_home() ):?>
Your Slider HTML goes here
<?php endif; ?>
Unsure if there was an easier way of doing this for the Pinnacle Theme? Or if there was a setting within Slider Revolution plugin itself.
as of right now my homepage looks like this.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Social Media Sharing problem
I don’t want to disable pagebuilder and risk massacring my content. I wish there was an easier way to check for a conflict.
