    Hi there,

Sorry I can’t find this by searching the forums.

If I use this: [blog_posts orderby=rand cat=client] it only shows 4 posts in 2 columns.

    If I use this: [blog_posts orderby=rand items=all cat=client] it only shows 1 post.

If I use this: [blog_posts orderby=rand items=20 cat=client] it shows 19 posts. That’s how many I have in that category now but I would like to know the items=??? – what to put for ??? so I always get all of them. I guess I could put 100 and hope some day I have over 100 clients!

    thanks,

    Hey Tomo,
    1. You can paste this in your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:

    img.attachment-shop_thumbnail.size-shop_thumbnail {
        margin: 5px;
    }

    2. You can set Enable Product Image Aspect Ratio on product Page to Off in Theme Options > Shop Settings. Then you can go to Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display and set the size of the Single Product Image.

    Hope that helps!

About to ask for #2! I would love that functionality!

My regular bloggers (and I) don’t like having to set the featured image and the page header. My occasional or contributing bloggers are familiar with featured image, but the Pinnacle page header is always forgotten.

    Hi Ben,

o.k. Here is again the link to my ic1396-page: http://wordpress10xx.galaxyphoto.de/ic-1396
Which options do I have to link this image to a larger size?
Is it possible by clicking on this smaller image to show a larger version in a single lightbox ( which can be closed again )?

    Best regards
    Michael

    Hello,

I would like to ask you two questions regarding the designs of Woo Commerce page:

    – I would like to have a spaces around thumbnails of sub images under main image of product. How can I do that?
Here is a layout image as reference:

    – I would like to make sizes of main image of the Woo Commerce product’s single page smaller than now. Where can I fix it?

it would be great if you help me.

    Best,
    Tomo

Page scroll to id is the only “alien” installed – deactivating it didn’t help.

Meantime i deactivated all, except TinyMCE, Kadence slider and Page builder – was afraid specially with Page builder, that it will mess my page.

If you say it’s ok i’ll disable those too. Scroll to ID plugin is temporary back on, since the menu doesn’t function without it.

Websites with Virtue before version 3 don’t have that problem.
I am concerned that you don’t see this, does it help if i record this ?

    Sorry for the late respond..
I have been looking for the open <a> tag in my FTP client under mytheme>woocommerce>myaccount, and the only two places i’ve seen the tag it is also closed. And these two places are on the button “view” on “latest orders” and “edit” under “addresses”.
Where can I check what’s in my header or plaved directly on the page?

Hi there, I’m trying to post on my blog, and trying to follow the examples from the default, but I’m getting an error.

    here’s the site:
when I click on any post, it says:

Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.

It looks like this was the result of either:

    a mistyped address
    an out-of-date link

any ideas? Also, what does /Post%20Name mean?
    Thank you!

    Hi,

I am using qTranslate-X with Pinnacle Premium. So far so good. One problem, though, is every time I update the theme, the qTranslate language tags get stripped out from elements set in the Theme Options, for example the Home Page Title and the Home Page Icon Menu titles. I add the [:es]Título en Español[:en]English Title[:] string to the page title, for example, but after updating only the text in Spanish remains and the tags are gone.

I suppose I can save the theme settings before update, them reload them after update, but if there is way to avoid loading those settings that would be much easier.

Thank you and thank you for a great theme.

I’m sorry maybe this is where we’ve been off this whole time. I was under the assumption you knew what you were doing with php and were looking for a recommendation. Support doesn’t code out huge custom changes for people, see the support terms it’s just theme support.

I can suggest some css that would hide all the items. Or the plugins like I have already suggested but if you’re wanting someone to write out all the custom code then you probably need to hire a developer.

My suggest is to override the key category page template so you don’t effect the core woocommerce loop. What you would have to do is basically copy everything from the archive-product.php template into the category template then remove the parts you don’t want. leaving the archive and loop files uneffected.

    #92872

Awesome i think that is going to work. ill have switch my two menus around so the other is the default so that pages like the search page have the correct menu but thats fine. thank you

    #92871

Nope, the cart folder is in wp-content > plugins > woocommerce > templates > cart. You’ve stated it’s somewhere in my cart page, so I scanned all the cart pages in that folder. To be clear, I was looking for no </p> closing tag after a <p> tag was used – correct?

There’s no “cart page” in child folder. Just these files:
    functions.php
    product-searchform.php
    rtl.css
    screenshot.png
    style.css

None of these files had missing p tags. Am I out to lunch on all this?

BTW, thanks for the article. It’s also the one Hannah recommended earlier. It’s helped improve page speed score by ten points before caching. Next I’ll be installing WP Rocket. I’d already uninstalled W3 Total Cache because it broke stuff.

    Cheers

    Hello,

I’d like my portfolio carousel speed to be faster on my home page. How do I accomplish this?

    My site is http://www.greenseasonslandscape.com

In your settings > reading. There you can set the posts per page.

    #92859

    Hey,
I’m confused. So you want the home page to be a slider? Or not?

    Ben

    #92858

Ok, in your settings > reading. Make sure you leave the select box for the “post page” blank.

then go to your page titled blog and make sure to use the blog grid page template.

There is an option under Theme Options> Misc Settings at the bottom of the page that will allow you to turn off the theme lightbox on your site.

Try switching that to off and let me know if that works for you.

    #92851

    That worked! Thanks!
Curious, what prompted the 767px? Is it just because that number is 1 pixel away from the width specified in the responsive layout page builder page in settings?

    #92848

I love how the mosaic gallery neatly arranges my images. They display so nicely, in my case, I don’t think the viewer needs to click them to see them larger. Is there a way to turn off the lightbox feature? I tried set Gallery Settings link to “none” but it doesn’t work.
