Thanks for the links to the pages. Are you referring to this space below the footer – https://share.zight.com/NQu5vrE8? If so, it’s from a third-party gallery plugin. That plugin adds HTML codes below the body tag which displays a large space – see screenshot: https://share.zight.com/7KuXyL2E

Try disabling plugins and see which one causes the issue.

This is ONLY archive layout. The same changes for pages and posts layout do work and are properly saved.
What can be the reason for this behavior?

Hi, Mandy!

I tried replicating the issue by adding a Row Layout block with a local video file background. It worked for my Safari, Firefox, and mobile Safari browsers:

Have you tried deactivating other plugins one by one? If you have a plugin that lazy-loads videos, could you try disabling that option and clearing the website cache?

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

There are built-in options to control the excerpt length in the Kadence theme. For the archive page (like the Blog page), do these:

1. Go to Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Archive Layout
2. Scroll down until you see the Post Item Elements section and expand the Excerpt tab
3. Set a lower word count – https://share.zight.com/ApulOnkN

If you are showing the excerpt within the single post title sections, this option’s value will be used too – https://share.zight.com/bLuyGrwD

Hi,
I don´t get the footer sticky with the content and stopped on the bottom page, it’s floating always on all pages. It just works if I have a Shortcode block with a video gallery code or so. It doesn’t matter if the content is small or big.

Could you please give me a solution to fix it?

You can check it doesn’t work at *Login to see link and works well at *Login to see link (the 2nd has a video gallery on top that might give some kind of CSS that makes the footer sticky on the bottom

The Author Box option is indeed only available in posts. I found a similar feature request for this here – https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/feature-requests/author-box/.

Could you send us your website URL? This is so I can check how your WooCommerce-related pages look and see which Kadence Shop Kit features you’re using.

Also, did you specify new image sizes for your website? If so, could you regenerate thumbnails using a plugin like this and see if that will fix the fatal error?

The featured images on the archive pages have options in the Kadence theme’s Customizer settings:

1. Go to Posts/Pages Layout > Archive Layout
2. Select the Inherit option for the “Set Image Ratio” option

It entirely depends on the layout you want. As mentioned above, there are options to show in which aspect ratio you want the images to show on the archive pages.

I have installed the Kadence theme on many sites, and when I make an ecommerce site I use the starter called Print Shop Recently I have found that when I enter wordpress and click on the Home button to view the site my Homepage on every site I build with Print Shop does not have the top strip for WordPress with the options of: Customize, New, or edit page. The strip is gone off of the home page making it hard to edit the home page. The site looks like a normal page with no options normally provided from WordPress. If I go to any other page of the site the strip is there normally but not the home page. If I try to edit the home page through the pages section the changes will not take effect on the main home page. It is designated as the front page on the editor as well so changes should take effect. Now I have built many sites and I experience this on all of them built with the Print Shop template, even on different web hosting. Now I am finding other pages are having the same issue. If I click to another page the strip appears normally and I can re-enter the WordPress UI and do normal WordPress things.

Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me? Why would this affect different sites on different hosting with different browsers?

Hi!
I don’t use reusable blocks or patterns at all yet.
Kadence Version: 1.1.43
Kadence Blocks version 3.1.19

What I’ve done:
1. Stopped Laragon and completely cleared “php_errors.log”

2. Launched Laragon and started working on the site.

3. About 30 minutes later the same problem occurred

4. I opened “php_errors.log” and it turned out to be completely empty.

5. I decided to check the PHP error record. To do this, I opened function.php of my child theme and removed the first letter from the very first function (unction child_enqueue_scripts()). I saved function.php and reloaded the site page. An error was displayed:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected identifier "child_enqueue_scripts" in F:\laragon\www\secondsite\wp-content\themes\kadence-child\functions.php on line 5

6. I opened “php_errors.log” and saw three lines of errors (I am attaching a screenshot). That is, errors are recorded in “php_errors.log”. However, if a problem occurs with YoastSEO, no errors occur in the PHP. Therefore, I simply have nothing to send you in “php_errors.log”…

Thank you so much!) That worked perfectly. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that, it seems so easy now:) I lowered opacity of the background colour in the customizer for the archive page, with the image already set and I can now see the image behind the title.

Hi there!

Could you confirm if you have any reusable blocks inside the page that time out or become unresponsive? We had reports recently about the same behavior and the issue was with the Spacer/Divider blocks inside reusable blocks.

A fix for this was added to the latest version of the Kadence Blocks plugin (3.1.19) – https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/changelog/

Do you have the latest version? Is the issue still happening with the Yoast SEO plugin active?

If so, please could you still send us the complete PHP error log file?

QUESTIONS:
In either the form block or advance form block: I am you to duplicate forms and/or export- import forms?
Can I reuse a form on another page and have it create another id to indicate this form is in a location on site for that form? Or do I have to create another form for each page location on site?
I am unclear how the forms in both form block type are id or tracked in the submissions data entry.

If I add a # while placing it in the menu, it becomes clickable. Can you make a top menu item without a link that has dropdowns underneath it? To see this, go to *Login to see link .

On other pages and posts, the margin top is zeroed (selector .entry-content-wrap .entry-header .kadence-breadcrumbs:first-child) – what I need everywhere.
