This reply has been marked as private.February 8, 2022 at 11:59 am #270365In forum: Kadence ThemeFebruary 7, 2022 at 6:54 am #270335Hi Kadence,
After making a computer safety check of one of my websites, I found some less fun security issues to fix. (It’s just my regular portfolio website using the Kadence Theme). I don’t like to risk messing up any Kadence Theme specifics and so forth.
Is there a specific plugin like “insert headers and footers” or equivalent plugin you would recommend, like Theme Editor you think I should use – or Notepad and FTP Filezilla, in adding things like: ” Referrer-Policy Meta Tag”?
Thanks in advance

February 3, 2022 at 9:06 am #270268Hi Sara,
Thank you for writing.
If you have the Pro version of the Kadence theme (Kadence Pro plugin), you can put your GA in Header/Footer scripts and don’t need to install a third-party plugin. If you don’t have the Pro version, you can only put the GA using a third-party plugin or a child theme.
We prefer to use the Header/Footer scripts as we don’t have control over any third-party plugins.
Kind regards,
ChitoIn forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Question about customisation
Hello,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!
1) I removed footer, but there’s still a small grey part. How to remove it?
The side header is showing in full-screen height while your slider is not. This is the reason why there is still space below it. Please could you send a screenshot of your slider so we can replicate it better?
2)
You can add this in Theme Options > Custom CSS:
#wrapper { min-height: calc( 100vh - 32px); display: flex; flex-direction: column; } #inner-wrap { flex: 1 0 auto; }3)How to add space between widget and menu? I have left Site Layout Header Style.
Since WordPress 5.8 now added Gutenberg on the widgets page, you can add a Spacer block to your Header Extras Widgets Area. Alternatively, add a custom CSS code:
#kad-vertical-menu .kad-header-menu { margin-top: 10px; }Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

Good morning Kadence Team,
I’d like to get your expert advice on best approach for Google Analytics. I’m using Kadence Theme & Blocks Pro, so which direction is better: activating Header/Footer scripts and adding the script in the Custom Scripts header area or installing one of the two plugins you mention in your documentation?
I like to keep installed plugins to a minimum but don’t have enough experience with GA to know which is best for my client’s site.
Many thanks in advance!
SaraIn forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Question about customisation
Hello.
I have few questions:
1)
I have full fullscreen revolution slider on my homepage.
Css:
.rev_slider_wrapper.fullscreen-container {
overflow: hidden !important;
}.page-id-22 footer#containerfooter {
display: none;
}Page type – landing page.
I removed footer, but there’s still a small grey part. How to remove it?2)
Is there a way to set “buttom menu” and “Footer Copyright Text” ALWAYS at the bottom of the page?
If there’s not enough content, this information is in the middle of the page.3)
Last one.
How to add space between widget and menu? I have left Site Layout Header Style.Thanks and regards
In forum: Kadence ThemeJanuary 28, 2022 at 11:15 am #270166Is there a way for you to add more features to the Custom Posts Types options in the Customizer, such as those in the Blog Posts: Single Post Layout? For instance: Show Post Tags, Show Footer Area in Boxed Mode, Show Post Author Box, Show Post Navigation, and Show Related Posts. Specifically, the Show Post Tags and Show Post Navigation could be helpful with a Portfolio custom post type.
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Footer Navigation Sub Items not appearing
Hello Tim,
* If I create the menus through Appearance > Customise > Menus it doesn’t appear in the list.
Try to reload the Customizer page and see if the new menu will then be listed on the Navigation Menu widget.
For the footer navigation, click on the gear icon and go to the Design tab to adjust the navigation colors. For navigation menus added using Widget footer items, click on the gear icon of the footer row where they were placed. Then, go to the Design tab and adjust the Link Colors.
Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uN9kQK.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

Hey Kevin, thanks for the reply and the video.
The look that I’m after is more like what you’ve got in SERVICES and ABOUT menus in Widgets 2 & 3.
I’ve set up separate menus – one for each column that I’d like to display (currently called Footer1, Footer2, etc).
When I add a widget and add a Navigation Menu block, the menus that I’ve created don’t show up in the list of available menus:
This looks different to what shows up in your video:
How can I get all of the menus to appear as options to select from in the Navigation Menu block in the widget?
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Footer Navigation Sub Items not appearing
Hey, thanks for contacting us.
With the Kadence Footer Menu item, you’re not able to display submenu items. In order to achieve this look, try instead using one of your Footer Widget Areas, and add a “Navigation Menu” within the widgets.
Here’s a quick video showing how to set this up:

In forum: Kadence ThemeTopic: Blog Archive Footer Issues
January 23, 2022 at 7:13 pm #270063I would like my blog archive page to have left and right padding. I am able to achieve this by changing the page layout to normal. However, this then cuts off the third column of my footer (see attached photo).
When I set the page back to fullwidth (currently set in the link above), the footer shows all three columns, but the left and right padding for the posts in the archive page are gone.
Is there a custom CSS solution for this via padding? Or do I have something set incorrectly with my footer? I cant find a way to have the footer as normal and padding for the archive page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
In forum: Kadence ThemeI have created a menu for my website *Login to see link and tagged it to appear in the footer. Each main item in the menu contains several sub items.
I have added the Footer Navigation to the Footer, however the menu only displays the top level items, and not the sub items.
How can I get the sub items to appear? I would like the menu to display the sub items under each main item in a permanently displayed list (not a drop-down).

Hi travelcompositions,
Thanks for the login! I was able to move items around your header and footer without issue. What browser are you working in? Have you cleared your cache? What happens when you try to move items around in customize > header or footer?Kindly,
HannahIn forum: Ascend ThemeHey,
Thanks for reaching out! This has to do with the height of the footer columns. You can use the following css to add a min-height:@media (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 992px) { #containerfooter .col-sm-6 { min-height: 300px; } }Hope that helps!
Best,
