    Hello,

To translate files, you need to use this plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

Just select the Kadence Slider, find your language in the list of PO files, and select it. Then, search for the string you need to change, and make the alteration. I’m currently working on a post that details this process better, so there will be some better documentation on how to do these types of translations soon.

I guess I’m still confused. Are you saying that something outside of yourself changed your language from German to Formal German and you didn’t realize it?

I’m not sure I understand. If you change the language code then none of the translations would have an effect. If I switch from English to French in my general settings none of my English translations would have an effect. If you switch from German to formal German it is that drastic of a switch you would need to make all new translations for formal German. Does that make sense?

    Hi Priscilia,
I’m seeing the latest posts directly under your header for both languages. Have you tried clearing your cache?

I’m using Virtue Premium and the woocommerce store – newest Versions – I want to use german language – I get english and german translations as output – A solution for me is to use quick Translation in the Setup. But there are more Problems: Blog comment form is in english an one word in german.
See blazey.de – My other Homepage without woocommerce works fine. There are some translations in the backend too – Do you have an idea, where to search for mistakes- I used a plugin for editing the language files. All found and all seams to be ok. Thank you

You can also send us a PO file and we can update the language file in the theme. all language files are added through user submission.

    Thanks for posting.

    Hi John,
You can change the “your cart” text from Theme Options > Language Settings.
    Hope that helps!

    Hi Kevin!

Thank you for the instructions. It’s a bit confusing that some icons can be created from Appearance and then, for example shopping cart, only by selecting it in the Theme Options/Top Bar Settings.

Also, I would like to unite the language on all devices to be either Your Account and Your Cart, or My Account and My Cart. As it is now, I can change it only for computer screens to be viewed as Your Account (and Your Cart). I believe it’s confusing for the users to have My Account and Your Cart – or maybe not!

    Any advice on this?

    Kind Regards
    John

You can change that text using this plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

Just find your language in WooCommerce, and then search for the string. You should be able to change it to whatever you like.

Let me know if you need any further assistance with that.

I would like to translate “Previous post” and “next post”. It is not avalaible in ‘theme options -> language settings’. I could only change “read more” into my language. I am using Ascend theme.
(I can only choose to not display “Previous post” and “next post” navigation.)

Could you let me know how and where I can change this?
    Thanks!

Thank you Kevin! Solved this issue!

    Three more questions.

    1. How I can move language switcher closer to the title. Now, it is too far.

    Please see here: https://auroracruises.com

    2. Ho I can make switcher bigger?

    3. I put code to call from site +1 (772) 335-7017 – It is correct?

    Thank you!

Your issue is actually with your site language setting in your settings > general. You seem to have it set to 'en_GB' which doens’t make sense because there shouldn’t be any special characters in a language setting.

I changed that to English UK for you and you can see everything working.

Cart notices are different. You referenced “add to cart” text before.

a cart notice is a post type that you should have to create one for each language. Because it’s a “post” it’s not going to be set by an admin string.

    Hey,
    1. You can’t delete a selection of variations in one step. Once they are created they are there. Likely created because of something with WPML in your translation process. But that is only a guess, just makes the most sense considering how data is created and saved. I would talk with WPML and make sure you have you WOO settings for WPML correct and your not duplicating meta content across languages.

You can remove all variations then rebuild the two you want. At the top of the variations tab you should see a select box it defaults to “add variation” and there is a button “go” right next to it. change that select box to “delete all variations” and click Go.

Make sure there is no way you possibly used this to create a variation from all attributes as that would be a sure way to create 150 variations.

    2. Hmm, I fixed this for you. You should see the option in your string translation of WPML once you add a change in kadence woo

Thanks! I didn’t know about the language selector; this is a nice clean solution.
