December 12, 2016 at 11:53 am #124886Hey,
The popup box is coming from your language plugin, it’s just an alert. If you want to get rid of that alert you should check with WPML. They should be able to help you with your settings for there plugin.Ben

In forum: Virtue ThemeDecember 7, 2016 at 5:29 pm #124472Hi team
How can I customize or translate the text that shows up when you click on a post category which has no posts attached to it? It then says “sorry, no results found”. My site is in Dutch and I’d like it to say something in that language. I know you can customize the 404 page but this one I couldn’t find where to tweak it…
Could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks!

December 4, 2016 at 11:39 pm #123956Hey,
In your language string translations in the polylang settings you can translate the link for the image menu.Or you can add anything from the home page into your page content using page-builder and just create two pages as pages not through the theme options admin.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: polylang and images menu
Hello, I’m using polylanguage to make my website cuestatrading.f21studio.com multilanguage and in general it has been working fine. However, the images menu that is available on the theme only gives one option of link, so no matter the language that the visitor choses, the images menu will always redirect it to the english page. Any ideas of workarounds to make the images menu redirect to the spanish page when the site is in spanish and in english only when the site is in english?
Thank you,

December 3, 2016 at 11:41 pm #123890Hey,
Are you logged in when seeing these screenshots? Is there anything you can tell me that would help me be able to see this? I’ve tried windows, mac, and 4 browsers in each along with an iphone, ipad and samsung galaxy. I still have yet to see the page load a cross between the two languages and so I’m having a really hard time even guessing at troubleshooting because I can’t see it.
I am seeing that there are still language strings not translated. like “menu” and “your cart” these things will all be in the theme string translations.

December 1, 2016 at 1:09 pm #123674Please send me a screen shot of what your seeing. That would be helpful as I continue to see the site working without issue? I do see that you have not yet set a language for “menu” on mobile but everything else is translating without issue.
I also still see that you have oject, database and page caching on so it’s possible I am not seeing the most recent version of hte site since I can only see a cached version.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Polylang – Virtue problem
Hi Hannah,
I keep the plugin running with minify disabled but this problem has nothing to do with cache. I have the same theme with identical plugins and even same languages on another website and because I haven’t updated the plugin, it is working fine. I don’t have any cache plugin there.
If you check the url https://www.omidbookstoreonline.se on this site: http://ready.mobi or any other mobile version checking website (even on your own mobile device), you will see that the content is completely messed up. If it is difficult to understand what I mean, I can take some screenshots and mark everything on the image.
Maybe I need to contact Polylang support for this, but since I can not understand the roots of the problem, I need to know what is wrong first.
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Polylang – Virtue problem
Hi,
Since the last update of Polylang (a few weeks ago) one of my sites does not load correctly. The main language is Farsi and second language in Engish. When you open the site for the first time, instead of Farsi version, you see a mixture of Farsi and English and a lot of Home page content is vanished! The menu elements are in English and some Titles are in Farsi… If you click on one of (for example Secondary) links and go to one of pages and then change language, everything shows up correctly. Then you can go to home page and it shows just fine!
The other way to fix the problem is to change the theme to something else and then re-activate Virtue theme. If I deactivate Polylang and reactivate again, it will be fixed too!
On mobile version there is no way to fix it and it always goes to a mix of both languages.I have the same theme on another site and because I have not updated the plugin, it works just fine.
On both websites I use Loco translate as well. The corrupted website is *Login to see link
The one which does not have any problem is: *Login to see link
Regrdas,
NimaIn forum: Virtue ThemeDear virtue team,
you’re doing fantastic work 🙂
I did a few test purchases lately at my shop, and one thing I noticed is that at checkout it can took between 10 to 15 secs between clicking the “Order” button until the “Order Received” page arrived. I do not know why, my use Gandi SimpleHosting Size M which works pretty solid otherwise…
Anyway, I noticed that there’s a greyish BlockUI after “Order” is clicked. That’s good. However, there’s no spinning wheel. I noticed that people get impatient and click the browser’s RELOAD or BACK button, because the page is just “blocked” and it looks like things might “hang”. This really does harm our revenue 😉 It would be nice if a spinning wheel could be added to the BlockUI.
The Storefront theme has this, see here: *Login to see link
I think this is still really tiny but at least the customers get some feedback that they should hang tight and… just wait.
PayPal does this really good I think, see here: *Login to see link
Basically, PayPal has a visually big enough spinning wheel and also a description (here “Verarbeiten…” means “Processing…”).So my question is: Could a spinning wheel be added to the checkout ideally with a small wording like “Your order is being processed…” below it? Or could this be added with CSS somehow?
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Language Settings – Cyrillic
Hi all,
I made simple site based on Pinnacle Premium child theme.
Whole site is on cyrillic so I was going to set some translations in Theme Options > Language Settings but if any cyrillic letter is entered save can not be done. It works ok when write on latin, but when write on cyrillic and try to save I get popup alert “There was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page.”
Can anything be done so cyrillic letters can be used there?
Thanks in advance 🙂In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Can't install lider Revolution
November 23, 2016 at 1:48 pm #1226601. It doesn’t matter what the default is. You have to mark a language for each post. Meaning you have to open each post and set the language and click save. I did a test on your site and it works fine if you save the posts correctly.
If your having trouble learning polylang I strongly suggest reading there docs.
2. You have turned on media translate in your polylang settings. You have to turn that off if you want to use the same images for both languages.

Hi Ben,
I have set the English as default language but still not able to see the changes on the staff grid. Also I have another problem, I couldn’t see the images in the media library when I try to insert the same image for the English into the Chinese language post. Do you have any idea why?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Delia

November 22, 2016 at 4:40 pm #122492Hey,
You installed polyang but had not set a language to your staff posts. You have to set up all the pages and define a language if you want to use polylang.Ben
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Kadence Slider Mobile and Polylang in Pinnacle Theme
Hi Isabel,
Did you try out Ben’s response from Phillipe’s thread? In your string translations you can set a different shortcode for your slider for each language. Then in Theme Options > Home Slider select Shortcode Entry in the Choose a Home Image Slider dropdown and add your slider shortcode. Does that work for you?Hannah
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi
My problem is about applying different mobile sliders for the different languages on the website. I am using Pinnacle Theme and Polylang.I am a bit new about creating websites and has arrived a moment I cannot understand how to continue.
Basically is what Phillipe talked about in this topic:
But I am not so fluent with shortcodes. I am familiar with the basic use of wordpress and templates. My problem is
I have my website in 2 languages (ES, EN) and in the future will be another more. So I need to solve this before going on.
Everything is ok but the mobile slider in the home page.
I have created 2 different sliders, one in each language, but now I don’t know how to apply them.
Could you please help me with this??I am creating the website in a localhost, so I don’t have a link.
Thank you in advance for your time and help.
IsabelIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Problems with Blog posts
November 18, 2016 at 12:18 pm #122043ok, I see, in your theme options > home layout you have selected to limit posts to only show from a certain category. That category is a dutch category and so it’s only showing posts in dutch.
By leaving it blank you are using any category and this the translation is taking effect.
If you need to only show one category then you would need to add your posts into the page content using a shortcode and then you can set a different shortcode per language.
see here for blog shortcodes: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle-premium/shortcodes/
