In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Multilanguage icon names
Hi, I have the multilingual widget at the bottom of the site which I use for switching between languages. It switches everything except for the icon names and the titles of the carousels on main page.
Also, today I figured out that I cannot have a multilingual portfolio item with this plugin. When I create a post, there is a tab with which I can switch languages. However when I create a portfolio item, there is no such tab in the editor.
Do you maybe know what can be wrong? Maybe this multilanguage plugin is not able to translate portfolio items and icons, only page names and blog text?
thanks again for the help,
MelindaIn forum: Virtue ThemeBen,
I am watching your video on how to download demo content for the Virtue Premium Theme. We have installed/activated the WordPress Importer plug-in.
When we unzip the Virture Premium Theme file we initially downloaded when we installed our theme — we do not see an XML file to upload.
I took a screen shot of the files we see in the unzipped file — but I don’t know how to attach that screen shot.
Most of the files are PHP files. the only file folders we are seeing are and none contain any XML files:
Assets
Language
Lib
Sensei
Templates
Theme Options
WoocommerceWhere should we find the XML file to upload?
Thank you,

November 4, 2015 at 10:41 am #65533Hey,
Loco translate allows you to translate themes, plugins to a certain language. It’s not a plugin that adds multilingual abilities? Meaning it doesn’t give you the options to have two languages that you can switch between. You need a plugin like WPML or polylang. Are you using one of those? It’s those plugins that add a language switcher and allow you to translate things like the icons.Ben

Hi, the website is bymeli.net
By flag, I meant the language switcher flag. I want to have it in the title, next to the menus. I used “Loco translate” plugin. I could translate the posts and pages, but not the icons on the first page (the three icons saying “Vorrei ricette”, etc.)
Thanks for the help!In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: How to get rid of the and on Product page
November 3, 2015 at 12:29 pm #65387You need to translate the theme and wordpress to chinese. Here is a plugin for that: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
You can also set the “product description” tab text in your theme options > language settings.

Hi,
I would like to create a multilanguage website but I can’t seem to figure out two things:
– how can I change the name under the icons on the main page
– how can I add a flag into the title of the page, not in the topbar or footerCould someone help me out with these?
Thanks a lot,

November 2, 2015 at 9:36 am #65212Hey,
You are adding images that have text in theme. So you can’t translate the images (where if you were using captions you can translate those).
You will need to use two different sliders so for that you need to make theme in a plugin like the cyclone slider. Then add your shortcode for one in the home slider > cyclone slider shortcode box. Then in your wpml settings go to “string translation” and translate the cyclone slider shortcode to use the other shortcode for your second slider.
There is a es_ES.mo file in the languages folder of the theme. Are you sure that notice is for the theme?

In forum: Virtue ThemeNovember 1, 2015 at 2:43 pm #65156Hello,
I´m using the WPML plugin and translating is for now going well except the HOME page slider…how can I insert the slider images with translated images?
The home page is blank and I get this in the Theme and plugin localization tab: “es_ES.mo File not found”. It´s to Spanish that I´m trying to translate the website.
The URL by the way is http://www.eleteholistichydrate.comThanks for any help you can give me.

October 28, 2015 at 4:43 pm #64709Is your language set to german in the general settings? Did you install the german translations for woocommerce?
The theme has the same po files for german that it’s had since the beginning. Those are updated now and then but they are still there in the theme.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Contact form costum changes
Hey Rickard,
You can use the po file to translate the theme into any language. Or use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
Hope that helps!Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Contact form costum changes
Hi,
Is it possible to change the text on the contact form that comes with the theme? For exampel I would like to change the Name, Email and Message to another language and I would also like to change the text that the user of the contact form receives.

October 23, 2015 at 1:42 pm #64163Hey,
The correct folder is pinnacle_premium/languages/
Loco translate should be defaulting to there? Odd thats it’s not for you. You shouldn’t be adding to redux language files. shouldn’t need to do anything there. Try adding your file to the languages folder.also just so you know both ‘latest from the blog’ and ‘best selling products’ are items that you can type your own text for in the theme options > home layout.
Ben
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi there,
I’m trying to add some translation for the Pinnacle theme. Mainly the ‘latest from the blog’ and ‘best selling products’, but later on, probably more.
So i’ve installed loco translate, synced the po file for nl_nl.
After adding the translation and saving, the site doesn’t change.
I found through ftp that in the /domains/…/public_html/wp-content/themes/pinnacle_premium/themeoptions/redux/languages folder, the nl_nl po and mo files are saved. They contain the translation I added. How do I get the site to listen to those translation files? I’ve tried putting them in wp-content/languages folder, but that didn’t do the trick.
thanks in advance!

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Can't create menu
Hello,
As I explained on my last message, I contacted the host company and they doubled the php.ini settings as you suggested and they did the same with the memory. I just tested and even without adding a page, just trying to save the ENGLISH MENU and still it redirects to the “page not found” error. I also have a copy of that website on a domain I have where I create the websites for my clients and that copy is giving me the same error, hence I have the feeling that the solution might be something else. Could it possibly be related to synchronizing the menus in both languages? I don’t really know how to use that tool, but just brainstorming here and trying to find a solution. I look forward to your response.
