Hi Ben,
I need some support with the CSS for the position of two widgets in the topbar. I want to have the language selector on the left and the search bar completely on the right (I enabled the topbar layout switch). The positioning must be responsive also for the mobile layout.
This is the website:
http://www.hsyco.com
Thanks in advance for your support,
ManuelaIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
I need that language widget appears on the RightMost corner of topbar beside Search widget instead of being in the leftmost corner. So far, this is impossible to achieve whatever setting use in topbar. If I invert left to right the search widget goes to left and flags stay in the middle.
Please, have a look at *Login to see link to understand it.
Thanks

January 25, 2015 at 11:32 pm #285542. Did you clear your cache? I see theme in one line?
3. Just go to pages > add new. Choose the template “blog”. Then save.
4. Read more – are you adding a read more in the post excerpt? It may be a language issue because wordpress has a hard time figuring out “words” when it’s Japanese. Have you installed this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-excerpt/ and changed to count by letters?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: how to setup a multilingual slider on home page
January 25, 2015 at 10:07 pm #28537Hey,
Do not set the slider for “Kadence Slider” in the theme options. Tried to make that clear above. You have to use the “cyclone slider/shortcode” option. Then you have to use the mqtranslate shortcode for languages. Place that shortcode and both sliders in the shortcode box.
This shouldn’t have anything to do with page settings.Ben

Thanks Ben, I tried to create two different Kadence Sliders but if I don’t specify any Kadence Slider in the Theme Options – Slider Settings an error is shown on the page: “Please specify a slider ID”. Moreover, in the page settings if I set a shortcode for one language and another shortcode for the other language and I update the page only the last shortcode is saved and displayed.

January 24, 2015 at 9:45 pm #28475You would have to create two sliders. Then call one for one language and another for a different language. If you using the theme options add though the “cyclone slider/shortcode” option instead of choosing one from the list in the Kadence slider options.

January 23, 2015 at 9:17 am #28344The only other real option is to move “page title” to disabled. Add a widget area and then place
<h1>tags in your widget area.Yes correct on the languages folder

Thank you Ben!
I added file functions.php to my child theme. And pasted the code you wrote.
Also I have a languages folder in my child theme with files ru_RU.po, ru_RU.po.
Is it correct?I use files ru_RU.po, ru_RU.po to change h1 header on main page post grid. Header ‘Resent Post’ was replaced on ‘My Header …’
Is there another way to replace header in post grid on main page?My site travelq

January 22, 2015 at 10:45 am #28266You can add a function to include yours from your child theme:
add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'my_child_theme_setup' ); function my_child_theme_setup() { load_child_theme_textdomain( 'virtue', get_stylesheet_directory() . '/languages' ); }just have a languages folder in your child theme.
You can also send the files along to be added in future updates.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeAlright, I realized that. Since menu option has more options than before and starting to understand. Just contents we still have to do our own.
But then if I open up another wordpress for another language with woocommerce’s contents all in that language. Is it possible to connect both wordpress database? In forum: Virtue ThemeJanuary 20, 2015 at 3:47 pm #28071Every page has multiple parts depending on your languages you’ve set up. you can control the page for each language. all you do is click the page to edit then choose which language of the page you want to edit.
When your on the site you can choose the language and then each link will be for that language.

In forum: Virtue ThemeI just came to realize, if I am trying to make multi-language option for the site, I will need to require different main navigation.
E.g.
for English version, the main navigation is in english
for Chinese version, the main navigation is in chineseI don’t seem to see there’s such option. Is there such possibilities? Or I have to create multi wordpress? One for each language version but if I do this, the database for will be different so when people uses log-in. The user in English version won’t be able to log into the Chinese version and vise versa.
What are the possible and easiest ways to solve this?
In forum: Virtue ThemeActually I have a few questions but most importantly is.
Let’s say for my web LYFE as you can see all links are to the left can I make it something like this?img sampleIt’s like the nav link is at the center (wondering if there’s option to adjust it or need to input own css) but to the right side of the same row there’s two more links which is language option.
Another question is just curiosity if it is possible the topbar can be on top of the footer instead?

1. I don’t understand your saying the “Black Studio Tiny MCE” isn’t working? Or a plugin with shortcodes your trying to use isn’t working?
2. You wrote: “The easy or light box (don’t know how it’s called exactly) overlaps the text or boxes above in the posting.” can you post a link?
3. All translation files are in the themes languages folder, You can also use a plugin to edit: https://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/
4. The cyclone slider update isn’t working. I to have been talking with the plugin author about it. I’m working on a solution but for the time being you will have to manually update the plugin once the next version of the theme is released. (the plugin is in the theme folder). So you just have to delete the version you have and then the theme install will popup so you can have the latest.

Hello,
my website is ready for filling up with posts and I wrote a post to test all features in the shortcodes list. 50% of the codes are useless and I miss many good things, like table, anchor. I prefer the installed third party plugin from “Black Studio Tiny MCE” and meanwhile I use the compatible plugin called “WP editor”. With “WP editor” I got all the missing things I need and it looks much nicer in the toolbox.
Important for you, there is a bug in the “easy box”. Not working right and there are double named input fields. Maybe the last thing could be a translation bug, because I use it in other language. The easy or light box (don’t know how it’s called exactly) overlaps the text or boxes above in the posting.
It has nothing to do with the WP editor, because this error I got without any installed plugins.Btw, I also have some translation errors seen in the Theme settings of virtue. Where can I edit it?
What’s going on with Cyclone Slider Pro? I cannot update from 2.9.3 to 2.9.5. The developer of this slider doesn’t answer and I don’t see anywhere a help for this problem on your forum.

January 10, 2015 at 10:30 am #27164Hey,
1. what is the error?2. You have to use the correct language code for the mo and po files. It has to be the same code you are setting for the wordpress language. For example yours might be: da_DK
3. If you made your home page the shop page then you have to set up your slider in the theme options > shop settings. Scroll down to the shop slider.

January 9, 2015 at 5:49 pm #27123Hey,
You would need to translate the po file found in the theme languages folder. A good program to use is poedit and you can use the default po save as and make a danish po.Or you can use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/
