If your using a different language there are tons of strings that aren’t part of the language settings.
Translating all the strings through the theme options would make for more database queries throughout the site and thus a slower site.
The best way is to use the language files in the theme.

September 10, 2014 at 9:40 am #17199You can create a child theme and call the language file from the child theme, or just email me the file and I’ll include in the next update.

If you are translating you want to use the language files in the themes languages folder. And create one for your language or use a plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/
That way you can translate all the theme text strings.“is it possible to change also the header image on the search page”
right now it uses the default page header settings in the theme options > page header. But I’ll look into adding some options just for the search page.

September 8, 2014 at 10:59 am #16959Yes the theme comes with translations for theme text strings. It’s in the languages file, WPML knows where to look automatically
Ben

I was talking about if your theme comes with those files for specific languages besides english.
You are correct. I just got a reply from WPML. It is not automatic. In other words, WPML should not be called a Translator. It is just a plugin that switches to our own translated jobs.
I guess I will stick to Google Translator then. But thanks.

September 8, 2014 at 10:33 am #16947The .mo and .po and .pot files are all included in the standard language file in the theme. WPML is supported by this theme so I would check your settings.
As for “WPML to automatically convert my content”. I’m not sure what you mean? I don’t think WPML has as content converter.

I have just purchased WPML Multilingual CMS license and I’m trying to learn how it works.
But I noticed something about my theme having to be provided with .mo and/or .po files in order for WPML to automatically convert my content. Is this something I can download using my account on Kadence or not?In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Translation for contact us form
September 6, 2014 at 4:30 pm #16845Well the text that you are referring too is actually in the page-contact.php file
the errors are line 10 and 11
and the success is line 188
Either way though you should translate the theme using the languages files in the languages folder, Or by using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/
But if you want to just translate the contact form another option is to use a plugin like contact form 7.

That is the wordpress language folder, not the theme. The are different as one would translate wordpress and another would translate the theme.

September 4, 2014 at 11:17 am #16582Thank you for the help.
The thing is that all the files in the languages folder are translated. Is tgere another way of fixing this bug whitout using a plug-in?
In the link below is a phrintscren of the languages folder. You can also see the problem i was talking about if you hold your mouse over the “Cosul meu-…” button.

September 4, 2014 at 10:08 am #16560If you are using a language that this theme has not been translated to yet. you would need to translate the .pot file in the language folder. And makes sure wordpress is defined to using that language.
Or you can use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-translate-a-wordpress-theme/

In forum: Virtue ThemeWhat is the best way to align the WPML language selector to the top bar right as shown in the picture?
Source:
*Login to see linkIn forum: Virtue ThemeHello.
I’m using the Virtue Theme with woocommerce.
I have 2 questions:
1.
Isn’t it possible to use the page-builder plugin on the Virtue custom tabs?2. At the product description, I was able to use the page-builder plugin. However, my text wont show up on the website, in the description tap.
You can see it here:
If you are redirected to the english language, pleace change language to “Dansk”. Then scroll down to the tabs and click the one called description. It should be empty except for a headline saying: Produktbeskrivelse.
But it isn’t empty! If I check the DOM I can see that my content gets an element style of display none, but I have no idea why?
Why isn’t my text displayed?
Is page-builder and thwwse tabs simplt just not compatible? In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Premium and Multisite
August 29, 2014 at 11:48 am #16202Just to say upfront, this isn’t how I recommend having a site in two languages. I recommend using WMPL.
ON our second site, have to re-saved your permalinks?

August 29, 2014 at 11:34 am #16199Hi, I am needing to have my site also available in Spanish. I am attempting to do this using wordpress multisite with the spanish page a downward “folder structure” for the secondary site. With the Theme enabled on the secondary site it references back to the main site.
Example:
Solunamarketing.com (main site with theme)
Solunamarketing.com/esp (2cd Language site)Second site with another theme works fine. But, when premium is activated it references the main site in all links.
