I don’t have any console log errors to give you, as I already rolled back to WP 6.5 to fix the issue. When this issue began, my first thought was hosting resources, so our host (Flywheel), did increase resources for the site (memory, processes, etc.).
Switching out the theme had no effect, so I don’t believe it’s an issue with Kadence. I currently have 55 sites running Kadence, and have only seen this problem on two of them so far. Mostly with pages that have either a lot of blocks or more than 2-3 synced patterns running on them. I plan on staying with WP 6.5 until they resolve the issues with the editor.

I’m sorry in advance if I make some mistakes since english isn’t my first language.
I am having trouble with the mobile responsive version of my website. I checked everything (from plugin to css to other stuff) and it appears that the problem only comes when I set the background image of my row layout to 100vh
I only have the problem on mobile (desktop and tablet are working fine) and only with first connection or private connection on chrome (mozilla works fine)
as you can see from the first screencapture, the logo appears at the bottom of the screen and the background picture is zoomed in. As soon as I scroll down the problem disapears (sreencapture 2)
Do you guys have any idea why it does that? I’ve been searching for days and I’m stuck
PS: strangely enough, I don’t have the problem if my page isn’t set as the homepage (static page). This is driving me crazy

I’m currently using the Kadence theme for my website (*Login to see link thing) and I’ve encountered an issue. When users click on the author URL, they are redirected from the individual article and category pages to the homepage. Although the author link is enabled in the preferences, clicking on an author in the sitemap also redirects to the homepage rather than the author’s archive page.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

In forum: Kadence ThemeForgive me, I am a total noob here, trying to figure out WordPress and the Kadence theme.
My domain is http://www.christianturkiye.com.
What I want to do is, when I make a new page, it has the same design template around it as all of the other pages. Currently, when I try to create a new page, there’s no formatting of the page there at all, the text just goes from one side of the screen to the other. Is there a way to click on “Add New Page” and have it look like all of the others? Or a way to create a general template to re-use?
The theme I’m using looks like this (my contact form as an example)
But when I go to Pages –> Add New Page, and create a new page, none of that formatting is there, and the text I enter goes edge to edge, and the header hides the top part of it.
Can you assist?

Thank you for your answer. It appears I didn’t word my question very well though. I’d like to try that again when this higher priority issue has been addressed. I got an email from my installation of WordPress informing me about a critical error. This happened shortly after I tried to go to Appearance | Customize. I was not able to access that page. Support at WPEngine isolated the issue to Redux Framework, a plugin that wasn’t familiar to me. From the email:

An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 20 of the file /nas/content/live/meadowcroftdye/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/themeoptions/options/extensions/advanced_customizer/inc/advanced_customizer_section.php. Error message: Declaration of Redux_Advanced_Customizer_Section::json() must be compatible with Redux_Customizer_Section::json(): arrayI then contacted with Redux support who replied, in part, with this:
“The core problem here is that the theme author has embedded a very old, outdated, and discontinued version of Redux in their theme. They are also using an old extension for Redux called “advanced customizer” which we discontinued long ago as that extension is now part of the Redux version 4 core. Ideally, the theme author needs to update Redux if they insist on embedding, a practice we discourage and discontinued a few years back because of issues such as this. I sent their support people an email letting them know it’s in their best interest to update to Redux 4, as version 3 has security issues. Since it’s discontinued, they won’t be fixed. It’s on theme authors to keep their embedded copy current.”
Additionally, he gave me instructions on how to edit a line of code so that I can enable the Redux plugin again. I intend to do that. He encouraged me to contact you with this issue. This has taken some 4 or 5 hours of time along with that of 3 different support agents at my web host. I am strongly encouraging you to please work with Redux developers to permanently resolve this issue. I really don’t want to have to revisit it the next time my theme is updated. When I hear back from you about this, I’d like to give my original question another try.

I’ve also noticed this on several sites. I now have one site where even trying to edit a page (with three synched patterns on it), crashes the page.

Hi Archita, thanks for your help.
I made two screenshots. In the header you see the blue edit button. When I click on it, I can edit the header as normal. As you see in the second screenshot, this button is missing where the footer should be, so I can not edit it. As you see I added the Copyright and social wisgets to the footer builder, but they don’t show because there is no footer. I also can’t change the colour of the footer, because the whole footer is missing.
All plugins and Kadence are updated, I also did not disable the footer for single pages.

I’m using Kadence Free Theme. After installation I deleted the Copyright text of the footer section so that I can begin working from a blank page.
Now I want to add a new footer, but in Customizer I can only move widgets and other elements to the different rows, but they won’t show on the page. I can’t select the footer on the page and tried everything to bring back the footer or select it on the page via the Customizer, but it disappeared.
Is there any possibility to bring the footer back? Thanks for help!

I checked the home page as an example.
Your images are small, 300 × 174 px, but they are rendered as 441 × 294 px. Here’s a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/E0uO2qeL
If a small image is stretched, it will be blurry.
What you can do is upload a larger size or change the Post Archive Columns in Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Archive Layout to 3, so the container width will be smaller.
